RedhorseWoman In answer to this, I have to agree with those who have stated that the normal reaction for Elders and many JWs is to tighten ranks and praise Jehovah that they survived such persecution from an agent of Satan.
Yes one of them did threaten us with his God. To be honest he kind of spooked me. LOL.......
Darryl , got right up and asked if he was hearing voices. He asked him that not to be smart but , because usually when someone (especially a religious person) says they hear voices the voices are telling them to kill. I guess that's how some of them view outsiders. -

Mindchild Danni...now that the smoke from this firestorm is starting to clear somewhat, I was wondering how you felt about the individuals on this board that shared somewhat of a different perspective than you did? Do you feel that they treated you personally unfairly or that they just didn't understand the whole story that you were not able to tell because of circumstances?
I feel they may have reacted differently if I had told them everything. Keeping some of the facts out may have led to them doubting what happed between us. As I sad lastnight I don't hold any hard feeling towards them.. well okay I don't like Yadrif....
I would also like to add. People are under the impression that being a cop means I am not human. I am not suppose to react as a "normal" human. This is so far from the truth. I was just telling a lady in the email. I am suppose to have all the answers. I am not even allowed to say, how do you do that?, what's that all about? etc. right away a person will say. "your a cop you don't know?" .Believe it or not I don't know everything I don't try to pretend like I know everything. I ask questions because all it does is teach me and show me things I would never have understood. Do you understand what I am trying to say? If I was trying to be a know-it-all cop ass kicking cop I wouldn't have cared about anything. I would have just walked in there and as others have said, abused my power. I would have made ..that doesn't matter..the point is, I left out so much of that meeting because i knew it wouldn't have taken a genius to figure out what city we were in and make more trouble. I also knew there were Jehovah's Witnesses here and I didn't want them to see the dark side of things there. I didn't feel I should have done that to anyone. Yadrif is a good example of a trouble maker. An old man with nothing more to do than become upset because the meeting didn't turn out the way he and others wanted it to.
Please do express yourselves . You don't have to agree with me on things but I can tell you honestly I slept alright lastnight inspite of what happened here. And I did keep in mind just as many people were against me, there were also as many supporting me. Thanks.

JWs have been fighting among themselves for a hundred years! Those that choose to fight do so because they have a personal stake in the fight, some feel it's worth the risk of losing everything! I fear for you, you have no reason to risk anything in this.
IW it's funny but I should have realized that with You Know and AlanF. But it still didn't get through I have learned that the hard way now.
Dave check your email it's kind of good news. You be the judge. I have a smile from ear to ear. Dave also I want to say, yes it was about the kids being molested but I also had other questions from them I just didn't get the chance to put them out there.

Detctive you are just a lot of talk. You want to put me down for what I did but, that's all you will do. You won't go anywhere to make a difference. you will come here everyday and complain about those who don't follow your instructions on how things should be handled. I am still waiting for you march your ass over there and do something. I will come back to read about how it worked out. You can also tell me who was abusing the power. BTW: I didn't put Mr.Bowen's name out there, I said, silentlambs and they ran with it. All I asked him, was if he knew the man , and his name, he said, yes he knows him, but wouldn't give his name.
MindChild. As far as you using an example about bullets flying around in a crowd and innocent people being hit, let's keep one thing in mind, we (Darryl,and I) were not the ones who took the fight in the crowd they did that, it was there fault if their own family members were hit by flying bullets. All I did was get the situation back under control and end the meeting. You were not there. I would like to see you too do a better job. I have no problem with that, infact I encourage it.

A cop that would publicize notes from a police report regarding an investigation into child molestation and brag about his/her bravado to a group of citizens?
There was no bragging I told the others what happened if you view that as bragging that's on you... This was personal I can tell it if I want. If there was going to be a court case on this I would have to wait until the trail was finished before I would even be allowed to talk on it.

teejay: And Danni accomplished?
Teejay, I know I know I didn't accomplished what I set out to do, but maybe there was a child molester there in the crowd and he/she now knows they will not walk away so easy anymore from this kind of crime. Maybe the Elders will now tell the victims to go to the police just because they don't want other police officers visitng them. You can believe the next time it will be officers in their uniforms.
Or maybe nothing will take place in there as far as the people losing their fear of telling on molesters. I don't know.. I am sure they are going to say whatever it takes to make us look bad. They will make our visit out to be something more than it was.
Maybe nothing was accomplished but if that's true it's not because i didn't try to make a difference. I feel good about that inspite of how others feel about me. -

Teejay, Darryl has been a cop for a number of years, he knows better how to handle matters as i said, before you were not there and i didn't tell everything that happened in that meeting, but they did start first yelling at us, and we did keep our cool as long as we could (until we heard them trying to paint us in a bad light) they took that argument outside not us. And they are the ones that want a gag order on us because they are afriad the media will get a hold of what happened. I am not going to say this anymore. We never abused any power, we didn't go in there to fight only ask questions about the child molesting policy they have. They never answered the question on why they feel they are above the law........I will leave your opinion to yourself...And one last thing, they knew why we were coming there. They didn't think we came be converted to Jehovah's Witnesses that was clear from our phone calls to eachother. I didn't go into detail on every little word spoken there's not enough space on this board to do that.... That's it.
