  so some may have read the long and boring post about our last vacation and some of the things that my wife came to tell me during our time away.

  Hello all. A month from custody trial for my little girl. I fight the anxiety every moment. Reading all of your posts has, I believe, kept me from losing it. I thank all of you. I read everyday about the tribulations all of you have lived through. I feel much comfort in hearing that the noose is tightening around the GB.

  Been researching the supposed money troubles. I believe, like many of you, that the GB have been keenly keeping tabs on the child abuse crisis. Most likely the most educated lawyers are laying out the "worst case scenario" spreadsheets, and the results of those projections are very bad. The organization is facing the beginings of a nightmare. The ARC, UK investigation, worldwide abuse lawsuits, etc. This will be worse exposure than the Catholic Church, why? Because there are only 1.2 million JWs in the U.S. They dont vote, no backlash from political people going after them. The majority of Americans feel they are not a real religion, a cult, not a christian religion. Americans are sick of ISIS, Taliban, extreme religion, extreme violence, and most of all, rape of a child. Once the news media ball gains full momentum it will be ugly. The US Government will react. It will take a few more years till that one big blowout year, when it will seem to be in the news everyday.

  What have the spreadsheets shown, what is the worst case scenario? History. History has shown what can happen when the shit hits the fan. Almost 4 Billion Dollars, 4 Billion is what hiding child rape has cost the Catholic Church. Most likely more in out of court settlements. (Google it, to many links to attatch.) Payouts to compensation, doctor and therapist reimbursement, etc....

  This will happen to the organization, its only a matter of time. Other governments will learn from the ARC.

  To all of the ex JWs, now is your moment, it is time to have your voice heard. All of you have been abused one way or another, I feel for you all, my heart goes out to you.

  Stranger in my own house, Since my wife and i don't talk much anymore nor sleep in the same bed. i feel like a stranger.

  yep, he told her that he wants to go a friends b-day...keep in mind it's not until december.

  well anyway i told her i didn't mind if he did and i would take him.

  yep, enter cult mode.....i hate this freaking cult.

  I went through what you are with my wife and daughter for 7 years. I am now in the beginings of a custody battle over our 11 year old daughter.

  You might want to look at 8/15 2002 WatchTower. pp30-31. "Questions from readers"

  It descibes how a husband is the head of the household and is the primary responsible one for deciding if the child learns the JW way or not.

  I was never a JW. My wife used that to avoid giving me the recognized role of spiritual headship, therefore that article did not apply to our situation. I am sure the elders backed her up.

  was just out shopping and came across two middle aged female witnesses with their magazine trolley..

  i approached them and they were all glee and smiles and ready to hand me a couple of magazines.

  one moment ladies i have just a couple of questions..

  Do video games cause bad behaviour in children?

  my boy is 10 and has got very interested in pocamon cards.

  ( a game way to complicated for me to understand) but i've also noticed it's linked to a computer game, which seems harmless enough but i also noticed advertisements for more violent games appear.. i would value people's opinion on whether, you think video games cause bad behaviour in kids.

  i should mention my kid says i limit his time on these games, much more than other children's parents, and i was thinking of reevaluating that rule.. thanks.. the rebel..

  My 2 cents,

  My son and I used to play Pokemon. A new age form of chess and the card game "war". It taught him strategy and patience. (I used to take my time, I hate losing.) Then we bought an xbox 360. And the games got more violent. I always talked to my son about the difference of a game and reality. (He is 17 now and could pilot a drone aircraft for the military). You need to get involved in the games he likes to play. You then can guide him on what he can learn from the experience. Oh, btw, every kid on the face of this planet has friends that get to do everything and anything at anytime. Limiting game time is a must. If need be, talk to his friends parents and set up rules, it works. And some of the games are very cool. It is a good bonding time. I have introduced Formula 1 racing on PS4 and most of his friends play now racing each other, and me, lol.

  You can google the rules of Pokemon and learn how to play in a short time. Then you can introduce new games to him to balance the more violent ones. Once he knows you want to play and explore new stuff with him, you will have a son and friend for life.

  i always sit in the same spot, just outside starbucks in a vestibule area with a table in the air-conditioned space.

  i say "always," but not today.. somebody with two laptops and a table filled with business ledgers was in "my" favorite spot!.

  so, i took a tiny wooden table inside the coffee shop on a long padded bench next to 3 other identical tables.. as the clickbait banner ads like to say: "and what happened next was simply unbelievable!".

  Hey Terry,

  I have read practically all of your stuff on here, and I must say - you are a good man! That being said, you say you felt bad about how it all went down, well - there is only one way to tell someone you really care about, that the person that they love and respect is dead. You tell them "blank is DEAD!"

  Do not feel bad for what you did, they needed to hear it from someone that cares!
