Sigh, March 17

it has been five years since i was baptized and i wish i could take it back.
i woke up this morning feeling incredibly sad, lonely and whats worse i woke up feeling empty.

Give yourself some time. Start getting involved in other things that interest you. Do something that is just for YOU.
Time really does heal the wounds. I would have forgotten that this was my baptism date if I hadn't read your thread. You will too someday. This junk becomes less of an issue as time goes on. Surround yourself with friends outside of the WTS. If you don't have any yet, Make some! There are truly some wonderful people out there. WTS makes you think that all people who are not JW's are demonic. Not true! I have met some wonderful people on this forum.
Keep your head held high! you have nothing to feel bad, or ashamed about.

A bro in our cong. was off to see his mistress in a neighboring town. He couldn't locate her, so he assaulted a different lady in a laundromat. He was caught because he is a mailman and someone recognized him! I was told he had a mattress in the back of his van with chains, and other disgusting paraphenilia. Anyway, the "incident" was made public by our newspaper. The CO decided to take him camping to "encourage" him!!!!!!!!! He was NEVER disfellowshipped!!!! Yes, he is part of the "good ol' boys" club.
There is also a bro in "good standing" that takes Viagra and BRAGS to people, (witness and non-witnesses) that the government pays for it (he's disabled, physically) and tells disgusting stories about his "conquests" using Viagra!!!!!!!!
Marshfield is like "Jehovah's Brothel!"

Right in Central Wisconsin is the little town of Marshfield. Right now, we have at least 4 families that are currently on their way out. That is a lot of people for the small congregation. Some of us have DA'd others have been DF'd. Some in the congregation can do whatever they please, (like getting caught in a laundromat and exposing himself. Police were called. It is on record on Wisconsin court access), and not get punished. Others in the cong. can sneeze and get DF'd. It is with this "raw" kind of handling of the flock that had some of us questioning the 'truth'. There are many more reasons that I am not probably aware of. Our "elders" were of the "good ol' boys club" and they got caught! (with their pants down so to speak!)

'PROPER' dress code for kids at the KH
by jambon1 inspeaking to a sister while i was in, she mentioned to me some trouble she was having trying to get her young daughter into a skirt for the meetings.
to cut a long story short, the girl just did`nt like skirts.
simple as that.

I always thought it was stupid that you HAD to wear a skirt or dress. Especially when it could be 30 or 40 below zero! What is wrong with pants?
I agree kids need discipline, but to battle over something so trivial is NOT worth it. Pick your battles. I'm sure this child just looked soooooo forward to meetings at the kingdom hell. What good memories she will have!!!!
