The logistics of dealing with over 6 billion unburied corpses
by jambon1 indoes this ever cross the mind of your average jw?.
can you even begin to imagine what that would look like or even smell like?.
what about the effect of these scenes on the mind of children, even adults?.

It seems to me that jehovahs witnesses either have a hideous lust for destruction or they just bury their head in the sand regarding the actual logistics of an earthwide holocaust.
Fools.

What do non witnesses actually think about the evil practice of disfellowshipping?
by jambon1 inwhenever i have mentioned this practise to people who don't know much about the witnesses (although they should know about them due to the worldwide preaching activity .
to most right thinking people it is absolutely just not an option to have no contact with your immediate family.. one lady said to me "i'd rather rip my heart out".. what has been your experience when people find out that jw's carry out this evil practise?.

Whenever I have mentioned this practise to people who don't know much about the witnesses (although they should know about them due to the worldwide preaching activity ), most people are absolutely horrified. In all honesty their reaction makes me feel embarrassed that I ever accepted this religion into my life.

Does everyone else get this reaction from their JW family when discussing objections to the religion?
by jambon1 inwhen pointing out my objections to the jw religion with my wife, i have noticed a worrying trend which even after 3 or 4 years shows no sign of relenting.. after speaking calmly for an hour or so and logically pointing out my objections, my wife starts to put forward outrageous assertations about my points.
for instance, if i am refering to the fact that disfellowshipping is a form of extreem punishment & i mention the terrible effects that being d/f'd can have on people, she will eventually retort with something like "so what you are saying is that we should tolerate paedophiles, rapists & thieves in the organisation then?".
of course, i've never at any point said anything of the sort.. or if i have been overly critical of the amount of control the society wants over peoples lives, she would reply "so what you are saying is that we should all just go out & do what we want, get drunk & live an immoral life?

Or if I have been overly critical of the amount of control the society wants over peoples lives, she would reply "so what you are saying is that we should all just go out & do what we want, get drunk & live an immoral life?" Again, I haven't said any of that in the conversation.
I always reply that it is her that is saying those things & not me. I always point that out to her.
It is as if she misses the whole point of my reasonable objections & just replies with extreem examples rather than take on board the point of what I am saying.
And the reason it is dangerous in my opinion is that it makes logical conversation based on fact almost impossible. The genuine points that I make are just cast aside and not discussed.
Does anyone else face this kind of thing?

Wierd District Convention experience Pioneer/Elder claim disapointment he's still not a C.O???
by Witness 007 inmelbourne australia district convention last saturday this jackass pioneer/elder gets on stage and relates how he and his wife have served where the need is great in many congs hoping for the "privledge" of being a c.o couple....he expressed "disapointment and discouragement" when he was not appointed....he moved to a new assignment in the chinese cong.. the speaker thanks him for his "honesty" but i was thinking what are his motives for serving his brothers?
is this a good example for pioneering?
must be a reason his ambition...... sorry i mean, goals could not be reached.

I knew an uber witness couple (pioneers/elder) in our congregation who were absolutely dying to become co/co's wife. The amount of arse licking & sphincter fondling that they carried out was cringeworthy to watch. To my knowledge they still never attained their ambition. The thing with them was that they loved to be treated like royalty. They too had travelled between local 'need greater' congregations for years.
I can still recall this peice of shit bragging about how he and his wife had attained however many years of continuous pioneer service since they left school. Honestly it was enough to give you the boak.
A horrible couple who looked down on & judged many, many people in our circuit.
They perfectly summed up why I didn't want to be part of their lame shit little religion.
Horrible people.

Besty Unplugged - My Life Story Part II
by besty in<<part i. i dont recall discussing the great disappointment of 1975 as a family.
i was only 5 and my older and wiser brother was 8. what i can remember was the muted sense of excitement we both felt in 1977. shortly after elvis died my dad announced we were moving off the island back to the scottish mainland.
i didnt connect the death of elvis with our big move, and rightly so.
