  Insurance news letter from January 2004 re:hiring JW's

  i hope this is ok to post this news article.

  its an insurance/news letter that i purchased online.

  i am thinking of distributing to local hospital human resource departments to inform them of their need to ask questions when hiring people with religious views that may affect their work.

  Considering it did happen in the cong that we used to attend.....I think you should distribute it out to the clinic/hospital!!

  so why didn't you think you were in a cult when you were a jdub?

  my "worldly" husband always told me i was in a cult when we were dating..i didn't believe him.

  but, to this day i still don't know why i didn't agree with him.

  My "worldly" husband always told me I was in a cult when we were dating..I didn't believe him. But, to this day I still don't know why I didn't agree with him. Maybe cause I wasn't drinking Koolaid or men didn't have multiple wives? (I guess thats what I thought a cult was).

  so, me, my bf, and jh decided to go to applebee's for din din on monday night.

  there are only two smoking tables near the bar, which we took one.

  can you believe all this time i didn't know why the the secretary kept 'publisher cards'.

  but, i just figured it out!!.

  when the big a finally hits all 'jehovah' has to do is grab the publishers records (of course while throwing bolts of lighting down at worldly people and apostates), it's like he has his own little 'book of life' !!

  Oh god this stinks

  my son just informed me that his grandfather left him and his brother, (his only grandsons) , money for their education.. i had no idea, of the amount but it did make sense to me...a suposed $50,000.00 but the will was on a small personal computer and promptly erased by someone in my mom's kh at her request.. she has in the mean time shunned me, and low and behold sent $200,000.00 to the society.

  this tires me beyond belief.. thanks for listneing....i am feeling crazy!.

  Wow! That does stink. It's sooo crazy just to think of all the time and money we gave to the society over our lifetime. But, then to have someone go and just write a BIG check out to the society while your children could have used it for education really sucks!! I guess getting into paradise is more important to your mom then other things llike her family. Sorry

  think about this: if seven times mean only 7 years then daniel could have simply said 7 years.

  why does daniel specifically use the word 'times' rather than years?

  as we have already shown daniel used the word for 7 times instead of 7 years.

  OOOh 3rdwitness I saw that you resurrected your own thread. It's great of you to be a witness..thats fine. If you choose to ignore facts about your religion thats fine too. However, the majority of us have investigated the Jdubs in and out uo and down and opened our eyes so that we could see the truth. I don't know why you thinnk you can 'save' anyone of us apostates...we see the light and are not going back to your darkness!! Maybe your time would be better spent studing for the meetings or out in field service??

  How do you answer this question??

  ok, i'm now da'd as many of you already know.

  it's so fresh that my stomach turns everytime the subject comes up about religion.

  however, something that does puzzle me a bit.......is how do you answer people when they ask you the question "what religion are you?

  If anyone asked me what religion I was when I was a witness I would say that I was a christian I was to embarrased to tell the truth..But, now if anyone asked I would tell them that I was raised in a cult and I now just believe in being a good person and I don't need a religion to have a relationship with God...If people aren't satisfied with that answer or judge me based on that answer Oh well....I don't care if someone thinks you NEED a religion!
