This was a preventable tragedy. OF COURSE they should have assisted a dying man!
But that's not their business. He knew that and fully accepted the risks. He PAID them for it with his life.
Stupid. Too sad, and too STUPID for him and for the inhumane business owners who offer these "survival courses."

Just posting a few pics here - I hope you don't mind!
by tim hooper ini'm a bit of a newbie here i suppose, but i've been fascinated by the photo threads that pop up now and then - notably leo's, purps and sparks.
so i thought i'd do my bit for posterity and bring you some pics from the uk that i've taken over the last few years, if that's all right with you that is!.
although i'm fully digital these days, my early work was film-based so, as a result of that training i tend to just use photoshop in the same way that i used to use my darkroom - ie.

restrangled, Great catch! Thanks so much!
Finally, the Watchtower's "donation arrangement" with the City of New York is cancelled. How much free sh*t can people take?

Looking for GOLDEN AGE mags 1925-1930
by Voltage ini'm trying to find copies of the golden age, specifically from the years 1925-1930. there seems to have been some really outrageous stuff published during those years, which i would like to be able to verify.
i found this site which has links to high-quality scans of most issues, but the 1925-1930 period is missing.
if anyone has copies (electronic or otherwise), or knows where to find some, please contact me!

Welcome, Voltage. There's a thread from June 2006 called "Golden Age Goodies" in the Scandals & Coverups forum.

Thanks for the alert... but how many live in the Pittsburgh area and can attend on a weeknight?
Maybe you're underestimating the distances involved... the U.S. is HUGE. I live in a state directly bordering Pennsy, yet Pittsburgh is a 6-hour drive for me. I think Danny is in Maine, about a 14-hour trip by car.
Most of us would have to book a round trip airplane flight and miss two days of work, for, what? Maybe 5 minutes of facetime with the director?
I'm glad you re-posted this, and am interested in any comments from those who can make the effort to attend.
