The Internet is their worst nightmare, exposing their criminal behavior. They cannot afford to ignore sites such as this.
Watchtower leaders might be like the Orthodox Jews who hire a non-Jewish shabbos goy to flip their light switches and flush their toilets during the weekly Sabbath.
They would never taint themselves personally reading here, but what's to stop them paying worldly "bird food" people to do their dirty work? If their scummy lawyers are worth their salt, ex-Witness sites are being surveiled.
The Governing Body puppet dictators could rationalize it as a "safety precaution" the same way the United Nations debacle was "just a library card."

Theocratic Lurker spies
by vikesgirl101 ini have read a few threads that speak of lurking spies for the jw that watch this website.
is this true?
i really don't have a problem with that, but to me it appears entirely sacreligious from what they preach.

"Apostates can only criticize , tear down and destroy "
by BluesBrother in"apostates can only criticize , tear down and destroy " say the active dubs, "where is their hope of something better?
what is their message to mankind ?
if they have nothing better to offer, how can they attack our faith, which at least offers a hope of a better world?".

Excellent post!
But there is no coordination, no chain of command , no unified plan of attack.
Right, but can we still use the secret handshakes?I was already lurking here, seeding my bible Watchtower publication study with what I was learning, and no, I was not receiving "satisfying answers" to my many well-researched questions.
So I had a brother explain talk down to me about avoiding those wicked apostate websites, all they did was spew vicious lies... and thought, "How could you know, unless you read them!"
And I don't for one moment think he that he did, he was brainwashed from birth. Following "The Party" line for JWs is worship through fear, not faith. Sad.

Name Things JWs Believe That Are Not Actually Biblically Provable
by minimus inhere's one example: being a congregation publisher.
nowhere in the bible does it say you should be a "publisher" and turn in your time if you preach.
they try to twist the scriptures by saying that numbers are constantly being recorded in the bible so then conforming to the rules of being a publisher is from the scriptures.. yeah, right..

My Project
by snowbird inok, maybe endeavor would be a better choice of words, but here goes.. this past year, both my daughters have given me some good smelling perfume - about 8 bottles, in fact.
it's too hot down here to wear perfume, so i've come up with what i hope is a good solution.. last saturday, i bought a corked container at the goodwill store for about $1.. i'm going to pry the atomizer off the bottles of perfume, pour the perfume into that container, and re-cork it.. when i take a bath, i will add a few drops of the perfume to my water, and i should emerge smelling like a rose!.

Alrighty then, enjoy them in good health!Luxuriate.....please, please don't experiment, but enjoy, enjoy, most women never have real perfume in their lives. What darling daughters you must have!

Hey, I've done the perfume on light bulbs thing, too! There was a vanilla-based scent I was gifted at the office, that I didn't care to wear. But my apartment at the time smelled heavenly every time I turned the lights on after a hard day's work.
Also, if you know of a shelter for battered women in your area, the residents typically can't afford such fineries and would be glad for the donation (unopened unused bottles, of course).

$134B In Seized U.S. Treasury Bonds Are "Fakes"
June 17, 2009 4:34 PM EDT
A spokesman for the U.S. Bureau of Public Debt said the recently seized $134 billion of U.S. Treasury Bonds in Italy are fakes, according to reports from Bloomberg.
Stephen Meyerhardt said, "They're clearly fakes. That's beyond the fact that the face value is far beyond what's out there"
U.S. records shows that there are an estimated $105.4 billion in bearer bonds that have yet to be surrendered, with most maturing more than five years ago. The Treasury stopped issuing bearer bonds in 1982.
Last week, Italian police seized the bonds from two Japanese travelers who were carrying the bonds in the false bottom on a suitcase and trying to cross into Switzerland.
