Hi Lilly.
So do you take something to make you feel better. Are you able to work? I guess I want to lead my father-in-law in the right direction. How do you cope? Any help would be apprecaited.
Thanks again, Nikki

Hi, I was wondering if anyone on the board is familiar with this. My father in law seems to have this. Hes 57 years old and alot of the family thinks hes just a dead beat but some of us know he is really sick. Hes in pain all day, which causes him to sleep all day. He also has seen other doctors and has been told he may have depression of some sort. He gets disablity pay only, $1200 per month. The last couple of days, his immediate family has been pretty hard on him. Is there a way to help him? Can someome who has fibermialga get the necessary meds (?) to make him feel better? Hes a very stuborn man and it does appear that he thinks its everyones elses fault that he has the problems he has etc, but this could just be the sickness talking. I want to help him, I want him to have a zest for life, does anyone have advice. I appreciate your help in advance.

the history of love by nicole krauss.
My girlfriend is listening to the "Deception Point" CDs while in her car, she loves it so far...Yet, shes the one who told me to read Angels and Demons...lol. So, after I am done with Da Vinci code (after A & D), I will attempt to read Deception Point.

today, as i celebrated the last day in the first half of my 20's, i started doing all sorts of sinful things.
i have done the following disfellowshippable offenses i've smoked weed, i've been on an unchaperoned date (with the most wonderful person in the world, my beautiful and still charming ex girlfriend), i've gotten drunk, talked to a disfellowshipped person, and to boot, i'm on an apostate site.
1. I swore
2. I told dirty jokes with my girlfriends
3. I ve been on this forum today
4. Ive questioned the beliefs of the JWs
Its been a good day.

I 3/4 through with Angels and Demons and it was suggested I read it because it was soooo awesome. So, I am reading it and I will finish it but it is a book that I can put down. I honestly think its kind of boring. Im at a part where its interesting, then it gets boring again...but I will finish it to the end. I am not sure about how I feel about the writing, but I have learned alot about the conclave, the Vatican, cardinals, Swiss Army...etc. I can say I have been educated on the subject, thats for sure. But, if people ask me what I think, which they already have...I tell them its boring. Yet, so many people have loved this book, I just don't get it, so far anyway, as to WHY. I love to read, I love books that I can't put down....

for all of you non-religionists out there: do you consider yourself an agnostic or atheist, and why?
it seems many ex-jws that "loose the faith" have a tendency to go straight for atheism.
i myself, would consider myself more of an agnostic, as i believe we have no real way of knowing if there is a god one way or the other, and it tends to seem just as extreme to me, to insist that there is not one.
i am an agnostic which reminds me of a joke I posted some time ago...
What do you call someone who is dislexic, agnostic, and has insomnia?
***Someone who stays up all night wondering if theres a dog***
Ha Ha Hee Hee

I am reading Angels and Demons, then I will move on to Da Vinci Code.....
my bf has had to go to belfast today for work.
he doesn't work away too often, this is only the 3rd time this year, and one of the times i went with him, but this time i have to stay home.
i took him to the airport this morning, hugged him as he went to board his flight, and i've been ok all day, until he rang me about an hour ago.
My husband is rarely out of town but when he does go, I never really think that I'll have a hard time until hes gone. I all of a sudden feel "missing him badly". The same thing happens for him when I am gone. It must be true love, its sweet. Its nice to be missed....
