no word for it but....I would open my bible in my lap and bow my head to take a nap. That nodding thing worked too cause then it looked like i was agreeing with the speaker. This i passed on to my little brother and I used to see him do that too.

I am from South Texas. 36. Kinda single, I have 2 kids 7 and 11. Born and raised, was disfellowshipped 7 yrs ago(guess^why). My whole family is still JDubs. Haven't talked to most in years. Still get to talk to my mom some and that is all that counts to me. They(JW) did me a favor by disfellowshipping me. I am so much happier now. I can actually breathe and not feel guilty about it or that I am not worthy of living. I actually have self-esteem now. Being shunned is nice, I don't have anything to say to them anyway.

my handle: mindchild comes from computer scientist and futurist dr. hans moravec: who wrote the book, the future of robot and human intelligence which is a book about when we will be able to construct machines capable of human intelligence and raises the possibility of uploading ourselves (every thought we ever had) into an android body much superior to the human ones we have now.
i entertain the hope that not only will i live long enough to see this happen, i will transfer myself (the complete essence of what is me) into a body of my own choosing and become immortal if i so choose.

TV Movie about Selena

Selena's parents, some siblings, and some relatives are witnesses. I remember going to assemblies in Corpus Christi and Houston and watching a Limo pull up to the door to let them out. They are real down to earth people though.
My brother danced with Selena at a wedding(JW). He was in love(but i think it was her booty) He said she was so beautiful and such sweet girl.
I am from Corpus Christi btw and passed by her house often to get to a friends house nearby. They are nice folks. -

I learned about this site in Yahoo chat. I was a lurker too for quite a while until I got brave enough to join.
I have been disfellowshipped coming on 7 yrs. It was a year ago that I started going in to exdub chat rooms and actually getting to talk to people that have been through the same things I have. It is wierd how people go thru the same emotions and feelings upon leaving the borg, isn't it?

he gave examples of how some gave up material comfort so they could pursue the ministry.

My parents volunteered my apartment to the CO and his wife for a week. I didn't find out about until i got home from work and found my place rearranged and my stuff packed to stay in an old travel trailer.
You can imagine how angry(after pulling a double shift) I was but they were already moved in!!!!!!
