Yeah, I live away and tell them that I go when I can. However after I attend the memorial I will break it to them and tell them I will no longer be active in the faith. I'm kind of nervous though.

inactive J.W.'s- R they witnesses or not?
by Chico86 inare inactive j.w.s still considered j.w.s or as having left the truth?
i get confused because some people talk about family members who are inactive, but say that they are not in the truth.

inactive J.W. and elders
by Chico86 inhey all of you.. i am an inactive j.w., well i dont consider myself to be a j.w.
but i haven't gone preaching or meetings like in 8 months.
i moved away to college and had my publisher card sent last week to a local congregation which i've only attended twice.

the reason im asking is that I'm doing my family a favor by having my publisher card sent to this new congregation. You see my dad's an elder and he was about to lose his privileges due to me being inactive, but now that i am no longer part of their congregation whatever I do for now on will not affect my family or their congregation. I just better not be getting calls from the elders asking me why I haven't attended the new congreagtion. Oh, well it feels good being part of a congregation in which you know no one and never attend, that way it's harder to get d.f.'d since no one knows you.

Hey all of you.

I moved away to college and had my publisher card sent last week to a local congregation which I've only attended twice. However i dont plan on going back or becoming active, will they still accept my publisher card and announce me as a new brother even if i'm never their or will they return my publisher card back to my old congregation?

Even though I'm no longer an active J.W. I still carry around the card, just so my folks won't talk B.S. about it. However, I'm not sure what my beliefs are on the subject of blood transfusion.

I was curious on what your belief is on blood transfusion and do your families that are active J.W.s enforce you to carry it around in your wallet?

Guess what? My parents just found out about my tattoos. My Mom was looking at my back and saw a part of my new tat. They were both disappointed and my Mom was furious, but I was like whatever. I thought they were gonna disown me or something. My Dad just lectured me on not following the world and being careful with asociations, blah, blah, blah. But, it feels great that they know and accept it. Thanks for the support. Glad to be out of this crazy religion, though that's something that I'll have to let my parents know that I no longer want to be active. But, that's another story. LOL!!!
