Well I was on the phone last night for a while and after all her screaming and crying I will cook the damn dinner and try to make everyone peacable. Next year I will take a vacation and go somewhere other than their house.

I told Jake you were a professional photographer and his son is a big wig attorney in SF and represents many well known artists and maybe He may hire you to do some photography work as Yano has offices in London, Madrid, Bejing, LA, and SF. Sony is one of his clients.

Juni I wish I could but I am trapped I have spoiled them so to speak as they are closer to me than their own sons. I don't think pappy will make it through 07 and that will kill Jake he is very close to his dad. So to try and keep peace and let the old man have some joy I do the best I can but you are right I am in a rut and I am getting older myself.

btw as a condition of his parole he has to attend anger management go to AA and NA and get a breathalizer installed on his truck and blow into it before it will start. One drink and back he goes. It is my understanding he will be on parole for 1 1/2 years he won't make it.

I would love to and so would Jake unfortunately I have already bought all the fixins for tgiving. and KK come on down. I am taking another posters advice though and for a**holes home comeing I will make a tv dinner and they can freeze it and eat I am so NOT doing anything for that low life loser. Jake and I only do all this for the sake of his sweet old pappy he is such a great guy and she makes his life a living hell always telling him she can't wait to bury him, it is heartbreaking to see and hear all this crap as it breaks Jakes heart to see his mom and dad so miserable with each other. I wish they had divorced 40 years ago. They say it all the time I just keep my mouth shut.

I just got off the phone with her and god I am so tired. Jake is going to Calif Dec 1 - 4 for his new album being released before x-mas. His mom wants to know if I will drive the 4 hours to Huntsville to get John if Jake isn't back. I told her no John gets $50.00 and a bus ticket to Dallas he can do that. Jake will pick him up if he is here. I sure as hell won't go I think I need Dr Phil LOL By the way I cook every Sunday for them and haul all the food over there to their home they can't climb the stairs to my place. So its cook clean drive eat clean drive clean and put it all away. I am not looking forward to thursday.
ever since i told my two sisters that i was 'inactive' they've shown no interest in me - that was over five years ago and i mean no interest.
i know other posters here have complained about family members trying to bring them back to the 'truth' but honestly i would quite welcome it.
i mean, they're both pioneering and happy to knock on the doors of complete strangers but they never knock on mine.. what are they thinking of when they think of me?
Hey Nic I truly understand how angry and hurt you are, I have been there and really still am. To keep your sanity and keep away from depression you need to let them go. That sounds harsh and cruel but that religion has a control that only fellow ex-dubs can understand. Unless you want to go back they will never have anything to do with you as long as they believe you are apostate. It is fear they have and that has been put there by the borg.
