That's What I'M Talkin' About!

call me a curmudgeon.

there are just some expressions in today's vernacular that are just idiotic, and "that's what i'm talkin' about" is one of these.

it is so ghetto.. several people are saying 'blah, blah, blah, de blah and more de blah..." suddenly, a dimwit in the group hears something that dimwit didn't even mention but happens to like the subject and then dimwit blurts out, "now that is what i'm talkin' about!".

Feeling guilty about being happy!

since i have thrown off the weight of guilt of the wts and my unloving witness adult children and realized there is life and a world out there i am finally feeling happy and a little guilty.. this is so paradoxical.

i finally realized i am alone and ok with that and making some friends along the way.. i guess i am just late getting started as i never believed i would get into my 50's in this system.. i have met so many on this forum and am doing great.

thanks to all of you.. warlock give me some of your humor lol.

but really, i went to the store today and was spending my last few bucks till friday buying eggs and taters.

i found a freaking slim slice of meat at a reasonable price and some frozen veggies.. so i check out and think...hah, i made it with 10 dollars left.

Just be careful with some of these folks you see. I see a lot of them at the Kroger on Cedar Springs and most are either on dope, alcohol or just cons and looking for a person with a big heart. Some just plain nuts.

Need some educating on this one

as some of you know i am now managing a new shop ( i managed this place for 3 years in the past).

it is owned by a fellow from ethiopia and he and i get along just great and i am paid very well.. just one problem he doesn't like blacks.

I am aware of the problem of prejudice between African Americans and those from Africa emigrated to the USA.

However this guy can be bi polar with them. I have 7 employees and 3 are black and he doesn't harass them. I think some of it is related to where they live in Dallas. If they are from a poor black area he refers to them as animals and poor white folks he refers to as animals.

I tried to reason with him about this but it is no use. I need my job so I let him rant.

I run the business and even tell him what to do he works as the cashier and that is all.

His wife is an absolute sweetheart and 4 beautiful and smart kids. He doesn't even remember the 2 youngest names as only the oldest Male means anything to him. I guess it is the culture.

Just one problem he doesn't like Blacks. Go figure.

He has forced one guy to quit (black) and he will treat the white folks and the Mexican folks ok, but as for Nigerians and American black folks he is rather rude.

I had a meeting with him today and told him to cool it and went into witness mode about out of one man came all. I am a white guy as most of you know and am color blind.

PS he would die if he knew I am gay as he really hates us faggots

Any Ideas or suggestions?
