page 28, paragraph 11 says in part:.

"it seems that resurrected ones of the 24-elders group may be involved in the communicating of divine truths today.

" (the 24 elders = "anointed christians in their heavenly positions".).

They make mistakes just like 1st century christians did.

when i'm discussing problems i have with the wts with my family they often say well they make mistakes just like the early christians did, they are not perfect.. i try to argue that if you think that way you can go to any christian church and say the same.

but usually they say that compared to other religions the wts makes less mistakes so you should go there.. i know that such reasoning doesn't make sense to me but what is a good response to this?.

a friend of mine (still an active jw) is quite sure that r.franz is back into wts.

from his point of view, an evidence is that he never published the 2nd part of isocf, even if it was announced in the first isocf.

i'm quite sure this is a nonsense , but you may help me with some information.

Where "The Emphatic Diaglott" contains The Name ?

i'm aware from wts literature that "the emphatic diaglott" contains divine name in 18 istance (reasoning book page 156 italian version).

does anybody know if these 18 instances are only citation of hebrew verses ?

Citation of YHMW in the 1969 KIT

everybody can look at the 237 citation of yhwh in the new world traslation appendix, as in the kingdom interlinear 1985 version.

the translator comitee decided to use yhwh for theological reasons where the original text containsx kyros.

i know that in the kingdom interlinear , 1969 version (i never seen it, aniway) the citation of yhwh were a lot more.

Josephus mentioned also 40 (or 50) years for desolation of Judea ?

based on the "kingdom" book appendix we know that josephus wrote regarding a 70 years desolation of judea and jerusalem , in his "antiquites jews".

now , i remember i red somewhere that josephus also mentioned 40 (or maybe 50) years desolation in a second statement in his book , probably he get confused .

obviusly the watchtower did not mention the second statement.

hi , have you notice the picture of david whyle is playing cetra in the dark ?

look at the clothes, can you see a man face profile (round the image 90 degrees dx)?
