WTBTS money making for who?

there is a lot of talk on here about the wtbts a money making organisation.. maybe, but who is this money going to?.

like a friend "in the truth" lol said, it's all put back into the work.

and who would want to be a missionary, they don't get any money out of the society etc etc.. so who reap the rewards here then?

page 28, paragraph 11 says in part:.

"it seems that resurrected ones of the 24-elders group may be involved in the communicating of divine truths today.

" (the 24 elders = "anointed christians in their heavenly positions".).

This statement is not new, as Blondie shows, it comes from Revelation book , almot 20 years ago.

Could it be they are reinforcing this statement in view of a new light ?

I mean , soon will come a time when GB is no longer made of anointed. If they claim that the 24 elder (anointed resurrected in the sky) are driving the GB from their invisible position , there's no question about authority . Whoever will sit down in Brooklyn button room will be under God direction. For a JW will be exactly like in the present time, Faithful and discreete slave is on top of the earthly organization .

They make mistakes just like 1st century christians did.

when i'm discussing problems i have with the wts with my family they often say well they make mistakes just like the early christians did, they are not perfect.. i try to argue that if you think that way you can go to any christian church and say the same.

but usually they say that compared to other religions the wts makes less mistakes so you should go there.. i know that such reasoning doesn't make sense to me but what is a good response to this?.

Probably your family is victim of misrepresented reality, based on what WTS told them. Note this line of reasoning.

All God servant in all the time , not just the 1st century , were imperfect and failed many time in their life-time.

BUT, when some of these men were writing God Word , they came under God Spirit direction (if you belevie in the Bible inspiration, of course), and so what's in the Bible is perfect, even if it comes from human work.

So when GB made false date prediction in their book and magazine , pretending they are "God Channel" , they MUST have been right because GOD doesn't communicate anything bad or wrong to men. In this case they cannot appeal to the human shortcoming

a friend of mine (still an active jw) is quite sure that r.franz is back into wts.

from his point of view, an evidence is that he never published the 2nd part of isocf, even if it was announced in the first isocf.

i'm quite sure this is a nonsense , but you may help me with some information.

Thanks guys for the consistent news and also for ilarity like Rutherford in Bethelsarim (LOL) I ha to tell you that this story of RF back here in Italy is largely believed from the active JWs who kows about RF story (not too much unfortunately)

a friend of mine (still an active jw) is quite sure that r.franz is back into wts.

from his point of view, an evidence is that he never published the 2nd part of isocf, even if it was announced in the first isocf.

Where "The Emphatic Diaglott" contains The Name ?

i'm aware from wts literature that "the emphatic diaglott" contains divine name in 18 istance (reasoning book page 156 italian version).

does anybody know if these 18 instances are only citation of hebrew verses ?

I see the second link , many thanks. What's interesting for me to check is where other Name inserted in the "TED". The point is that looking at the following (sorry I cannot quote as it's in italian, so I give you just the reference) *** it-1 p. 1028 Geova *** , the expression is ambiguos and may be interpreted like : "TED" contains "Jeohva" in 18 instance NOT ONLY Hebrew citation. Can you see what I mean ?

Hi Narkissos, thanks for the link . I've quickly look at Matthew 21:9 and I see "Lord" I'm maybe missing something .. I'll look into the .pdf better
