  than when one of my kids is sick.

  my three year old is just miserable with a cold and i feel so sorry for her.

  she is being so sweet and just wants to sit on my lap with her little pink cheeks.

  The poor thing. She still has a raging fever,I can't bring it down. She is so snuggly when she is sick.

  Views of worldy folk as a witness

  i bring this subject up because personally i dont get it.. i have noticed that some posters use words such as 'evil' or 'stinking goats' to describe the view (either their own adopted view or that of the jw org) they had of worldly people whilst a jehovahs witness.. the reason i find this difficult to understand is because i never felt that way toward 'people of the world' whislt being a believer of of the teachings of the jw organisation.

  and i didnt pick up on it being rammed down my throat by the org either.

  now i wonder if i was ignorant of something, not paying enough attention or if it is just each individuals approach toward life that makes the difference.. what were your views of 'people of the world and why?.

  I never agreed with the whole "wordly people are terrible" thing. I always liked them better than dubs...they were more real to me. I would have never married a dub either, i knew better. I would have been stuck if I had. I needed to marry a "wordly' guy in order to free myself.

  i'll start.. i'm fixin' file' chicken 'n sausage gumbo w/"cajun ice cream," a green salad and cheesy garlic bread.. crabby pants has already begun his "pre-mealtime throat clearings" from the kitchen aromas.. frannie.

  I think the most original award goes to MAMA 1119...for her mouse in water pipe phobia!

  That's a new one on me...

  I know, its wierd..I was debating whether or not to share it because its so odd, but I can't help it. It used to drive my husband nuts, but he is used to it now, and caters to my purified water demands. I have alot of weird stuff like that, but, it makes me...me...so, whatever.

  just curious...... where are some weird places you have seen watchtowers and awakes placed?

  doctors offices and laundermats seem to be most popular, where else have you seen them placed ?

  Bad parents.

  When my husband leaves garbage on the counter when all he has to do is open a door and stick it in the can.

  My neighbors who let their dogs poop all over the neighborhood.

  Long lines at Starbucks (when I need coffee, I NEED coffee)

  Reckless drivers who put on lipstick and talk on the phone at the same time.

  Oh I hate speaking in front of large groups too. My face always feels like its bright red, especially if I fear it turning bright red, then it really does.

  I also have a verrryyyy strange phobia that a mouse or bird will get caught up in my water pipes and I will be drinking dead bird water. So we have a water cooler, I don't ever drink tap water.

  i have not been a big believer in the supernatural.

  this isn't because the subject holds no interest for me; it's because i've not had many personal experiences to prompt such belief.

  i've always been willing to listen to the experiences of others, and while there've been times i've been fascinated with some of them, usually i think they're figments of the imagination.
