YOUR LAST MEETING.........................

........................at my last meeting, the elder was talking about 1975 and said "it never happened, it is appostates using a time when (some) brothers took the info in the wt wrong"...................i just blinked and finally woke up.. i had been on this site lurking for a couple of weeks, and realized thing werent right, but to have some creep say on the platform " it didnt happen"............when this ruined my and my siblings childhood, just made me snap.

on the way home, i told my hubby "that was the last meeting im going to"................boy was he pleased.. .

so if you didnt get df ......................what happened at your last meeting.?.

Mine was Spring of last year. I turned in a letter to request reinstatement a few weeks before (it was my 12th request). They decised to meet with me and asked me AGAIN if I was sorry for what I had done. Well, I had just about had it with saying I was sorry for an incisent that happened two years before that resulted in my beautiful baby, so I said just that..."I really feel like I have said I am sorry enough and I wouldnt change a thing becuase of my baby" and then they said "at what cost" did I have her. And that was it for me, as there is no cost to large to pay for my girl, and the fact that they thought there was made me so angry I didnt go back...

i am amazed at the almost complete polarization between cat and dog lovers.. .

i know few who love both.. .

cat lovers argue that cats are more intelligent than dogs.

I despise cats, they are just gross, icky creatures. Dogs are so snuggly and trusting and cute. I love my dogs. I will never have a cat.

many on here say they are being shunned by their family members.in some case this is probably true.

but seriously..could it be that they have a life and they may not have time for you anyway?

or finds you not too much fun to be around?.

Im going to go with shunned....my immediate family would never shun me, but we went to a anniversary party last night for some relatives and my uncle, who brought my fam into the borg was there, I was close to him growing up but not the last years, he has no reason to think me unpleasant to be around, and he did the whole shun thing...I made sure to say Hello to him, as I was the rest of the family, but when I aske dhow he was he said fine and turned away, not one other member there was unfriendly, just him, the only reason being that I am DF

I have been lurking for a while and just started posting a couple of weeks ago. I have been DF for 3 years and now my whole family and some friends are out. I grew up in the org..glad to not be raising my kids in it............

OHHHHHHH, I LOVE the Fourth!!! My absolute favorite. I tries to hard when I was a dub to squash my patriotic spirit but now I can live it up...complete with HUGE fireworks and massive BBQ
