I am not a big fan of Sigmund Freud but he had some good insights into human behavior and thinking. The part on PROJECTION seems very telling in regards to what comes out of Anthony Morris's mouth.

I don't Anthony Morris is 'gay'. In fact I don't think he is 'happy' at all.

i have words that irritate me and not always without reason.. my latest hate is the word: 'solutions' as used by so many businesses in their title these days.

y'know, 'something innane business solutions' and such balderdash.. i loathe that word now.

It looks like the Mormon Church is being forced to come clean about some of their history because of the internet. I love this line of reasoning from the article: "The church's acknowledgement is part of an effort to be more open about its history as members increasingly encounter claims about the faith on the internet." Will Anthony Morris III and his fellow Governing Body members follow suit and come clean about some of the 'dirty laundry' found in the history of Jehovah's Witnesses? Only time will tell. Comments anyone?

this book can literally be used to fit whatever agenda you have!

you can pull a scripture from here or there and apply it to what you want to do or what your agenda is.

i can't believe i never noticed how bad this was within jw.

Is the WTS effectively 'pimping out' sisters?

i can't remember the topic with the discussion about the talk where they suggested that sisters should only consider ministerial servants as potential marriage partners but think about the implications more.. are they trying to use the potential affections of sisters to enourage brothers to do more and work harder?.

isn't this a form of 'pimping out' the sisters by limiting their attention to the people contributing to them?.

it seems to cross a line to me but i guess it's not vastly different to "only marry another jw".. what do you think?.

Heck, I remember in the 60's some witnesses saying that you should not get married until after Armageddon. That way if a potential marriage mate survived Armageddon you would know that they were really 'spiritual' and that they loved Jehovah. Some things never change, they just get 'spun' differently. Same $hit, different day.

when i am3 was going to speak i was ecstatic to hear this lunatic embarass himself.

after the propaganda indoctrination session, a relative asked me what my spiritual goals were, i told em i want to become a servant before i turn 23 so i could get laid.

Thanks for the 'Christmas gift' idea FadeToBlack! I've picked out my gift already. They are Tony the Tiger socks from the Kelloggs Frosted Flakes commercials. After all, Tony the third thinks that he is 'GREAT' and he's a 'frosted flake' too.

Caleb, Sophia and their Mormon cousins are a BLATANT ripoff of the old Davey and Goliath kids religious television show of the 1960's. It was produced by the Lutheran Church in America and created by Art Clokey of Gumby and Pokey fame. The Watchtower Society has NEVER had an original creative thought but steals ideas from others and then claims them for their own. Shades of Charles Taze Russell anyone?

i was reading an article from a '95 wt called "watch out for self righteousness" it exposes amiii as a true pharisee by their own definition.

the style and content sound a lot like ray franz but it obviously was not.

i am confident you would never see an article like this in todays wt land.
