by Simon inseems like such an obviously correct decision to overturn the previous overreach - it should never have been necessary to go to the supreme court but happened because the rights of the religious were being ignored.. as the fundamental level, no one should be able to compel you to work for them or to provide services that go against your beliefs, and certainly not have the government be able to force you to comply.. if this was allowed there would be so many unreconcilable situations that would clog up courts over nonsense.. i also have little patience for these activists that intentionally look to be offended.
it really doesn't do their cause any good to go round looking to make trouble for people.

I just watched the final video from this years convention. OMG!!!

I handle 'small potatoes' compared to JeffT, but agree with him completely. Any corporation, whether for profit or not, must keep their 'books' according to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles. So first and foremost, we would need a Consolidated Operating Statement for the ENTIRE Watchtower/CCJW operation worldwide in order to get a clearer picture of their financial condition. On top of that, a Statement of Assets, Liabilities and Capital as well as a Cash Flow Analysis would give us an exact picture of their financial condition. I respect slimboyfat's intellect and admire his tenaciously predicting the collapse of Watchtower/CCJW. However, in this instance he is way out of his league. I have said it before and I will say it again, slimboyfat has no idea what he is talking about (in regards to the financial collapse of Watchtower/CCJW).

This is something that the uneducated and untrained Governing Body of Jehovah's Witnesses, their middle manager Circuit Overseers and the local lackey elders DO NOT have any comprehension of. Children that are mentally, emotionally, spiritually, physically and sexually abused are being put at a life long disadvantage and handicap. These men do not have the qualifications to help such ones. They must get protection from the law and an understanding 'ear' to help them process the trauma and continue to grow as children along a healthy path. I'm with you. The WT disgust me!
