I see what you mean, OrpahnCrow. Apparently the webpage has a 'timed out' feature. At any rate, click on the link. When you get to the page, click on Charities and Non-profits in the upper right hand corner. When you get to that page, scroll down half way and click on Tax Exempt Organizations Search. When you get to that page, scroll halfway down the page and click on Tax Exempt Organizations search again. When you get to that page, search by organization name WATCHTOWER and click on that link. When you get to that page, scroll half way down and click on Watchtower Bible and Tract Society of New York. When you get to that page, click on Tax Year 2016 Form 990-T. The information will appear in a pdf page. Good luck!

I just checked the IRS charitable organization website! This is the first time they have begun posting tax returns on charitable organizations. For the fiscal year 2016 they reported $1,590,239,000! in assets. LV101, for tax purposes, Watchtower of NY is the 'umbrella' or group corporation used to file tax returns for all the US corporations. So this amount is total for all US corporate assets. THIS IS INCREDIBLE!

If my memory serves me correctly, we rarely if ever had soup at Bethel. I also worked as a substitute waiter at Bethel and had access to the kitchen and food preparation area. Never did I see any Knorr products in the food store rooms. If you have knowledge of your claim, I would like to see it.

According to the PROCLAIMERS book, on page 91 it states: "On September 6, 1923, Brother Knorr became a member of the Bethel family in Brooklyn." That would make him 18 years old when he started his Bethel service and so he would no longer be living in his parents home. If you have evidence to the contrary, that would be interesting to see!
