A human has a brain mass/weight to body mass/weight of approximately 1/40. A hummingbird has a brain mass/weight to body mass/weight of approximately 1/25. Therefore the hummingbird actually has a huge brain for its body size. According to Sammie the Scientists' reasoning the human race should all be in subjection to hummingbirds.

I am certainly on the same page as And Don'tCallMeShirley. We will see changes that would shock our Witness parents if they were still alive today. When I was a Bethelite in the mid 1970's one of Audrey Knorrs' friends told me that Audrey Knorr had confided to her that Nathan Knorr was dead set against the Elder arrangement and the GOVERNING BODY arrangement (which is common knowledge now thanks to CRISIS OF CONSCIENCE) because he felt that these changes would take the Organization in the wrong direction. Yes AlphaMan now that they have the power GOVERNING BODY 2.0 is just getting warmed up.

I just remembered this experience while I was out mowing the lawn this morning. It is not shocking but rather comical in light of the WATCHTOWER SOCIETY'S on again off again love-hate relationship with the UNITED NATIONS. It was only my second day at Bethel in June of 1974 and I was hanging around the front desk at the 124 Building. It was during lunch so there was not much activity. In comes some guy in a suit and tie with a briefcase and walks up the the front desk. He asks to see someone 'in charge' and he is asked what his business is. He replys that he is from the UNITED NATIONS and he came here to present the WATCHTOWER SOCIETY with a plaque and some other paperwork praising the good works of the SOCIETY. The guy at the desk (he was a long time Bethelite) took the plaque and paperwork and threw it into the rubbish right in front of the guy! He said something to the effect of 'We don't want this god damned junk and here is where it belongs!'. (I have not used quotation marks because I don't remember his exact words) The poor guy from the UNITED NATIONS left in a huff but came back seconds later and retrieved the plaque and paperwork from out of the rubbish basket. How humiliating for the poor guy. He was just doing his job.

Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha! Oh my god this is hilarious! In the early 1970's I and some of my family members and a few others from our congregation were ' reproved' for Line Dancing. We were at a dinner /bar type venue and the house band was two local brothers from our congregation. A special needs talk was given on the dangers of dancing so the whole Kingdom Hall was warned too. The funny thing was that one of the Elders was dancing also. During our meeting with the Elders I said to the Elder that had been dancing that 'he was involved too' and so 'what about his conduct?'. His answer to my question was "I only did it a little bit". The way Jehovah's Witnesses are morphing into 'god knows what' is absolutely mind boggling.

To make things even more confusing since Jesus' bride is also Jesus' fathers wife and Jesus' is married to the Bride Class (144,000) and is part of Jehovah's Heavenly Organization then Jesus is also married to Jehovah. So Jehovah is married to his son and his sons wife. I love that you brought this up Terry. I was just explaining this very thing to my sister last week. And Jehovah's Witnesses think that Greek Mythology is all screwed up because there is so much incest among the gods.
