  What's a word that describes the way Witnesses behave as a group?

  i can't recall the word that describes a group that keeps to itself like the witnesses do.

  i thought it was "insular" but i don't think that's the one i'm looking for after reading the definition.

  i remember an elder using the word "clannish" and that has the proper definition but it reminds me of a group of elves.

  Mind Body Dualism

  i've never found dualism - the idea that the mind and the brain are two different substances with the mind being "immaterial" or "non-material" - a valid manner in which to address consciousness or any mysteries relating to it.

  to show the reasons why i think it's bad metaphysics i'll use analogous reasoning to make a case for my newly made up "mystic essence".. for hundreds of years scientists have studied plants and animals all across the world.

  but they still can't explain where ecosystems come from.

  I highly recommend this book. It helped me to clarify my thoughts and understanding about 'dualism' and 'the mind'. The book is tough going sometimes but if you stick with it I think you may gain some benefit from it.

  Russell's Gullibility and Ignorance Regarding Wheat

  another tidbit from my article on miracle wheat.. for those who don't know what this is about, charles taze russell started selling some wheat in the watchtower publications and supposedly this wheat produced "miraculous" amounts of wheat, hence the name "miracle wheat".. the first picture shows alaska "miracle" wheat.

  (the "miracle wheat" that russell promoted was a different kind, later named "stoner / miracle wheat").

  as you can see, it is much different than regular wheat.

  ok so a car pulls up to the house and 3 eldurrs from my dads congo come up.

  they come in and have thee nerve to ask me to step out so they can speak to pops!!!!

  this is the good part.....pops says...and i quote " whatever needs to be said..can be said in front of my son".

  Travel recommendations?

  hey guys.

  i've decided that during this time of being dfed, maybe trying to get reinstated, i'm going to enjoy my time with myself.

  that being said, i would like to do some traveling when the weather warms up across the us.

  Why didn't I think of that...........I pioneered in the area and I live within driving distance? Pinkham Notch, Crawford Notch and Evans Notch. You haven't lived until you explore the beauty of the White Mountains.

  so why do you think the borg is encouraging youngsters to get dunked sooner?

  i reckon it's cause they are easy to victimise.

  i mean, some-one could say, keep our secret, nobody will believe you & god wont love you, but think of the power they would have if they say "you will be disfellowshipped," on top.
