"There's no official position from Catholic Church about why Jesus was killed." - John_Mann
I think that the Catholic Church would disagree with you on that point.

sometimes theists challenge atheists about what evidence would be required before they would believe.
various unlikely scenarios are offered in reply.
i have taken the bait myself in the past.. i think the correct answer is much more ordinary.

i was raised in the religion and for the most part believed that my religion was truth.
i recognized some mistakes were occasionally made but felt that nobody is perfect.
then i smartened up and realized how dumb so many of the beliefs are....was there ever a time that you truly believed you had the "truth"?.
Between approximately 3 to 6 years old, I was a true believer. At least that is what my mother told me. I went out in 'service' alone at 5 years old in our neighborhood. When I hit about 7 years old I knew the 'jig was up' after reading THE PHOTO DRAMA of CREATION. It was downhill from there! I played the game for sake of family and friends and because the Congregation Servant and Bible Study Servant told me to put my questions aside as they will all be answered after 1975 when Armageddon takes care of all our problems. So I became a Pioneer, Bethelite, and Ministerial Servant. Finally, when offered the 'position' of congregation secretary so that I could be appointed an Elder that Fall..................................I turned it down and started my long fade. True believer? Never as a rational, thinking Adult.

"What do Witnesses do for fun.................?"
What they have ALWAYS done!
hi all.. this is a reasonable question and would love to know what you think is having the biggest impact on watchtower.
there is a plethora of websites talking negatively of watchtower.
there are the never ending court cases regarding child abuse allegations.
Jehovah's Witnesses built in .........................EXCUSE!

I agree with Cofty and Noam Chomsky. Why do Christian apologists ignore the obvious facts in order to defend the invisible fables?
it is a bad time to be awake;.
i see things i do not wish to see.. i have feelings i do not wish to feel.. if i could return to sleep, the deception.
of sweet slumber would assure that even a. nightmare might offer an escape, escape from.
Even a non-believer can draw comfort and inspiration from the works of Bach.
from reading about people's first and second hand experiences about working at wt world headquarters back in the 70s and 80s era, the hypocrisy and lovelessness caused many bethelites to quit even before their term ended, some even leaving to never again return to a kingdom hall.
that, coupled with open access back then at bethel to the literature of watchtower's early days can easily open the eyes of any rank and file jw to the society's occultish beginnings.
fast forward to the warwick bethel today.
