Funny how whenever they are confronted about failed prophecies etc the spirit directed comments disappear hmmmm. The baptism question is basically saying "Do you realise that you are entering into a contract with the WTBTS?"

Change in Baptismal Questions?
by brunnhilde inon another thread someone posted about hearing a different set of baptismal questions than the ones they had at their baptism.
can someone elaborate on this?
i don't remember hearing anything about the questions changing and this really surprised me, though i don't know why!

I'm starting to really get into the New Testament. This is great!
by MichaelM instuff i never really touched much when i was a studying with the witnesses.
i'm in awe.. amazed.. at the things jesus is saying/doing.. some of it is even putting me in tears.
one chapter that i really love so far is i'm in luke and i'm reading about the woman who came into the pharisee's home and started kissing jesus' feet and jesus told the story of the two people that owed money.

The bible is overrated and badly written, God needs to go to school.
On a more serious note, has anyone tried to interpret the bible by taking God completely out of the equation it actually makes a lot more sense
