I've heard many accusations over the years I have been in the organization, but never any proof. Does proof exsist of this claim and if so, what are detriments?

Kind of an update - warning, kw = boring. you were warned!
by KW13 inwell er, i have tried to get mum to discuss several things.
firstly i brought up the lack of evidence to support god wanted an org.
her response reflected what was going on upstairs in her brain.

KW and EVEN Jekyl made some good points. She's your mom. A mother would have to do something so horrible that it would be unspeakable, for her son of daughter to say: " I'm not gonna call that b*tch on my birthday!" Sometimes it's easiest to just not say much about what you are doing. Are you tring to "win a convert", or just educate yourself? My mom believes she is a JW and says some pretty F'ed up things to me and my siblings, but we just let it ride and when my parents come to visit, we roll out the red carpet for them. Nothing but the best! Do that in youe own way and strive to maintain a good friendship with your mom. Blood will ALWAYS be thicker than water!

Are you saying that the generation that was born before 1914 would not pass away "until all these things occur..."??? IS THIS WHAT WE ARE TALKING ABOUT???? They are breathing their last breath. Are you guys wanting to get baptized??? What's with the questions about what books need to be studied? Smoke some weed, drink some wine and go hang out in a Waffle House all night for one night. Enlightenment is there to be had...beyond the Scriptures.
