  here is a question for you.

  i'll give a little back ground.

  i was raised in the witness organization however in about 1993 i encountered much hypocrisy and left for about 3 years.

  It sounds like you were in a liberal congeration and then were awakened to the real policy when you moved. The Catholics have the same type of belief in the Pope and the Church, however many Catholics ignore it and live their lives. With JW trials being used to control the flock it is harder for the JW to live more independently from the GB and their rules.

  if a jw became aware of a crime , what would theybe advised to do ?

  if a jw person found out some information that meant that thier husband /brother /son had perhaps abused a child that he had denied abusing afterall , if they went to see the elders would they be advised to say nothing , or go to the authorities ?

  bear in mind that this perp is currently serving a prison term for children he had abused when he was a min servant , but got away with the other child ,because of lack of evidence .

  this information was brought to light by the childs family , that made the perps family aware of it , any ideas , would it be a conscience thing or "wait on jehovah" thing ?

  If this person is already in jail for sex abuse it is highly unlikely the prosecution would again prosecute the person again. It all depends how many years they are in and if they reached a plea deal. Every situation is different. The abused must decide to go forward to the authoritys and they will determine any actions, but a lot of time in a plea deal people get immunity from further prosection if they seek and stay in their treatment plan.

  Every situation is different so unless the abused is willing to go through the court system then there is nothing any body can do about it.

  Will Jehovah re-instate Death by Stoning in the New System?

  do you think that stoning as a form of death sentence will be re-instated in the new system once the "new scrolls" are opened?.

  jehovah loved it once, why would he not bring it back?

  it's such a humane christian form of killing someone, i am sure it'll be back!.

  i cant believe after 20 years of not being a jw that i found this site.. if anyone is willing to read this, and has any knowledge on the subject, i dont want to hate my father.

  i am looking for biblical proof that shunning your family is ok, if it exist.
