while reading another thread on apostates, i did a quick search on the word apostate on the wt cd.
these people are really paranoid about us!.

They are made neurotic by all the "apostate" and "demon" b.s. that is force-fed them. My little nieces were "obsessed" with demons and I was led to believe that most "apostates" were demonized. Now I consider apostasy freedom of thought.
Even though I was never baptized, I used to beg my mother to tell her JW friends that I was df'ed so they wouldn't talk to me! So there are some benefits of apostasy. I'd take it anyday over dubsville....

The Bible tells me to AVOID THEM........
They are attempting to make me renunciate my faith (Lutheran) which would make me an apostate. Some of them have renunciated previous faiths in order to become JW's. This makes THEM apostates.
If they can direct me to the scripture in the Bible that says ONLY Jehovah's Witnesses that renunciate their faith are considered "apostates," I will take them seriously when they call others "apostates," as if they don't have apostates within their organization.
Until then, I will continue to view them as narrow-minded morons.

after I read Ericka(sic) Berry's court transcripts at Silentlambs, the sentencing transcripts, AFTER the molester had been found guilty, I was sick. Something like 30 Jehovah's Witnesses showed up to testify what a wonderful person the molester was and how they'd leave their kids with him! It was a cold-hearted display of total disregard for this victim.
He had ALREADY been found GUILTY and they were going on like he was innocent !
All I could think of is that this girl is living a never-ending nightmare.
The Judge must have thought(known) the JW's were complete idiots or cold-blooded pigs......

well, my brother and his wife came over to my parent's house to visit today while i was home.. to make a long story short, while my brother and his wife were chatting with my mother in the living room, my 1 and a half year old nephew reilly walked into the kitchen where i was making a caesar salad.. he walked over towards me and was smiling, how can any normal adult resist the innocent smile of a child who is your relative?
i picked him up and gave him a huge hug, and told him i loved him.. as i was holding my nephew in my arms, my brother walked into the room.
he was smack dab in the middle of an in-depth conversation about jehovah with my mother and his wife, and i admit i was rolling my eyes listening to him spew about the "truth" and "the only means for salvation in the last days of this wicked system" even though when i confronted him with info on the un, blood, russell gravesite, rape changes, exclusivity, etc, he had no response for me because he was dumbfounded and lost for words.

I watched this organization break a grandfather's heart by requesting he not attend his only grandchild's wedding. why? because it would make the "brothers" uncomfortable with a df'ed person there. The grandfather is deceased now, and the grandson is df'ed.....
