  Therefore men are intimidated by women.

  Forgive me, but I don't follow the logic.

  I was just asking what the guys on this board find intimidating. I wasn't trying to say that all men are intimidated by women just as not all women are intimidated by men. I'm being fair I think.

  Neither, but I'm too scared of creepy (not meaning you guys) internet people to post a picture. I'm short and rather...ahem...round so there's no fear of someone being intimidated by my tall-ness

  Another reason a guy might say this is that he really isn't interested in a woman and saying she is "intimidating" is his way of rejecting her.

  I don't think has anything to do with my situation because he is interested in someone else.

  Lost_lights; I think you're right about that. Maybe I should just hang a sign around my neck that says, "I won't hurt you." on it. Then again, who knows what I'll attract!

  I wouldn't use the term hot babe to describe myself. Strong personality? Yeah, that works. I just didn't think something like that could drive guys away. I always thought that you manly men wanted a challange.

  i was just pondering how the wts has, for over a century, been able to convince people to do what is contrary to their best interests with fear tactics that armageddon is coming soon, and i came up with what is going to be my pet phrase for a while:.

  i've recieved some feedback about doing dating tips here on jwd, and so i've decided to go ahead with it.. a lot of what i will be posting may appear to be a bit sexist, and it defeats a lot of what feminism stands for, but what i post is what i find works.

  i'm not going to post a bunch of re-hashed garbage that society thinks should be the standards for dating, because most of it doesn't get results.

  all of what i post is going to be from personal experience.

  Should I start posting dating tips?

  many of us came out of the jws with very little dating experience under our belts (married or not), and a lot of us were very lost when it came to the opposite sex.

  the wts didn't help us learn how to pick a woman, how to court her, or even how to have sex with her.

  there's a lot of horror stories about first jw sexual encounters, and a lot of horror stories about dating after leaving the org.. i made it a goal to catch up on my dating experience after i deprogrammed myself, and i learned a lot about the competitive and tricky dating world.
