i received a very disturbing e-mail this week from a former jehovah's witness who only now after 20 years wants to come forward and tell her story of a horrible child sexual molestation in her congregation.

she was told to shut up and never say a thing to anyone about what she knew.

a jehovah's witness man in her congregation was abusing his retarted daughter.

Even though this was going on 20 years ago, it might be going on still. Maybe it has been reported already. Reporting to the police might help to find more victims and could possibly aid the investigation?? I think reporting to the police first is more important then going on a radio show.
The more the authorities have to deal with this issue the better it is.
A victim reporting today might be understood better and will receive more support.
