Is it worth making a JW Talk profile?

i have looked at the jw talk forums every now and again.

is it any use making a profile to get in?

mainly just to laugh at the pathetic discussion that they carry on with.

Email to Royal Commission on Lies

i wrote this email today to the royal commission:.

dear royal commission:.

i am writing you to tell you that many of the jehovah's witnesses who have testified have lied to the commission under oath, and they have done so with ease because of what they have been taught through their publications.

It is a good email, but i will point out that both Justice McClellan and Angus Stewart fully understand how much they lied. These are both very clever and wise men, they could see through the usual rubbish very easily.

Here is where Ron De Rooy was caught out lying, and he has to lie even more. (He claimed he cant remember the allegations)

Does your wife believe that the FDS is appointed by God/Jesus? Because by their own teachings they are not, and this is backed up by Geoffrey Jackson's testimony from the RC. The March WT study about the talents changed this, so it may be something you can reason on with her?

what is the latest on the Royal Commission case as of Aug 30?

the last video i watched was day 8 part 2 with geofrey jackson.

has there been anything else in terms of open session videos?

If you rewatch the final 5min or so of day 8 part 2 you will see McClellan talking to Angus. Angus asks for an extension on submitting his findings (his submission) as it is meant to be 4 weeks from the 2nd, but with GJ testifying a week later he asked for an extension. McClellan says no, so expect Angus' report to be out by the 8th at the latest.

Check the past cases to see what it looks like, Angus did the submission for Case 25 I think.

out of all of those books, i liked "mankind's search for god.

" however, it appears to me that this book is incredibly obscure and no one recalls studying it during the old book study format.

that article, gentile times: when do they end?, pointed to 1914 as a significant year.

the article linked the seven times of daniels prophecy with the appointed times of the nations spoken of by jesus.. what gentile times: when do they end?

I answered up for this question: "Brother Russel taught that Christ's presence began in 1874 and that Armageddon would come in 1914"

The Conductor was a bit flustered.

This paragraph was very deceiving:

New songs at meetings

today at the wt study one of the new songs was used.

how has this been going in other congs - at my hall about two thirds had it on either tablets or phones with lyrics on or printed out, rest just stood looking blank.

singing very poor.

it's a crappy song, something happened to the new song book and made all the composers forget how to rhyme
