This is a subject I have given some thought to. I have read the verses you cite, as well as others. Some seem to support the concept of eternal punishment, while others give me the impression of the grave being the end. I had a thought about this matter one day I would like to share. If a person kills someone, it only takes a second or so to acomplish this, yet he could spend the rest of his life in jail for it. He could spend the rest of his life paying for something that only took seconds of time! SO, how much more punishment should someone expect for a whole life of rejecting Christ as their savior? Its an interesting question to ponder in that light.

Yes!! I am proud to say I went to church today. The pastor gave a very good sermon with lots of feeling, and scriptures as well. It is always good to remember Jesus sacrifice for us, and give thanks for it. I am so glad I can approach God in prayer. Jesus died that I might have this honor.

Hello all, Its so sad that what the watchtower is really telling people is not to partake because they are not in a new covenant with Jesus. The ransom sacriface only covers the 144,000, not the "other sheep". So according to their doctrine Jesus didn't die for us at all. This is so sad because the Bible says he died that we might live. There are many scriptures that express this thought! I am so glad that I know that Jesus died for me that I might be saved, and I don't have to depend on the watchtower for my salvation. Everyone keep up the good work. Best wishes
