maybe not - but the cano incident should make us think about an allied problem,.

namely, general corruption and rot.. many years ago, it was not unknown to find strange photos and other materials in a bethel brother's room, after he died unexpectedly.. that doesn't prove that there is a massive problem with child molestation.

Physically abusive JWs: Still going to PARADISE?

i feel like im in a bad dream most of my life, fighting back the poisons that have come into my family through the watchtower.

because i am married to a jw and his sister and her family are jws and my dad mother in laws 2nd husband is an elder, its pervasive and intrusive and insidious...and i feel like im running around stomping out fires constantly that might consume my children and take them away from me or me from them.

im exhausted from it.. my jw husband has always been an alcoholic.

YOU NEED TO SAVE YOURSELF AND YOUR KIDS BEFORE WE SEE YOU LISTED IN THE OBITS.

My mother put me through 11 years of HELL (6yrs old to 17 yrs old) married to an abusive son of a bitch stepfather.

The only reason she left him is because I told her I was leaving on my 18th birthday. I was done with all the abuse.

He may not bother the kids, BUT THEY ARE BEING TRAUMATIZED DAY AND NIGHT.

I don't think too many publishers will even "get it".

You all know the reasons, too. Just off the top of my head:

"See. Jehovah eventually exposed him" "Nothing is hidden from Jehovah's eyes"

"He was allowed in the Org. to test us" "Satan is really working in these last days".

What have I missed?????

Anyone hurt my girls!

with all of this talk of the recent predator i discussed with my wife what i would do to someone that did that to one of my girls.... may be controversial but.... caveat: my wife was a victim of attempted rape when she was a teen (non-witness) and then was also molested as a kid on a trip in the caribbean.

my sibling was also abused sexually.. all i will say is that i saw a video a few years back of a father who's son was kidnapped and raped by his karate teacher.

when the teacher was extradited and returned to the states the dad was there pretending to talk on the phone and then turned around and put a bullet in the sickos head.. can't say that that wouldn't be my reaction if anyone hurt my girls!.
