  i found the memorial attendance for the following years from the above site.

  1919 - 21,411. apparently there was a peak in memorial attendance in 1916(i think it was old "old hippie" who said that) .

  The attendance from 1914 to 1919 seems to be steadily increasing, so how was there a peak in 1916? Is this just another WTS coverup?

  i always wondered if new remnant (newbies that feel they have a heavenly calling) must consult the elders with their intention to pertake of the emblems (tea and crumpets).

  maybe some ex elders can comment here or anyone else familiar with this.

  would it be totally out of place if a newbie was to partake without first talking to the elders?.

  I know that sometimes new remnant are not counted at the memorial because they do not have the elders approval

  Lets say that 100 remnant newbies consult with the elders about their new heavenly calling. How many on the average will go on to partake of the emblems, 10%? 20%? or what?
