  About a month ago I finished reading the book Angels and Demons from Dan Brown. It describes the process of picking a new Pope.

  i'm sure the jw's will be dancing around the may pole tonight celebrating!!

  honestly, mother therasa did more to help the needy and poor then the pope did any day.

  i always found it funny how catholics worshipped the pope, and even seem to think he is christ on earth or something.

  When a person is dying, it's a common courtesy to just forget the beefs one had with them and just let old dogs lie still. The commentary, I am sure, will start up shortly after his death, and will be the common focus of the media for months to come.

  For now, let's just think of a little old man in Italy that is dying, in a small apartment in Italy.. and just think of him as our fellow human. That is what he is, you know...

  Did this apply to Henschel when he died? Would any ex-JW apply this to any of the Governing Body upon their deathbed?

  So many people are saying what a nice guy the Pope is. Maybe he was an overall nice guy but this is the same Pope that made light of the thousands of child molestation coverups by Priests.

  We believe the leaders of our church are reincarnated Essenes: they worked closely with Jesus 2000 years ago and have now returned to help him with his current work.

  Now that's something the Watchtower hasn't claimed.
