Any 'old' elders books scanned online?

i'd like to compare, also anybody have old ones find anything new or different?

i'm also curious if any of the old ones told elders to discourage ones from going to the police or not or if that was a orally taught rule / call the branch.

Shepherding Book Cover Guessing Game!

lets play a guessing game to help us remain patient while the "shepherding' book is being scanned by more elders than i am gonna admit cuz i don't wanna embarrass the service department!.

so we know it is a softcover..... (if you are an elder and have yours-- mums the word-- please pass on playing and just enjoy the board speculation).

When they publish the "New Real Flock Book" it will be bright scarlet red with gold lettering.

It will be full of pictures detailing every aspect; there will be all the 'bits you can touch' and all the 'bits you can't touch'; this will make it easier for identifying exactly what you are guilty of!

PS It will also be available as a DVD

since our fellow member "yknot" is posting a serial commentary on the latest "flock" book, i thought this would be of interest for some of you.

5:20)" - flock, unit 5(c), page 119. note that the flock book states that the defense witnesses must be excused after giving their testimony, so the rest of the hearing is "secret" to even them.

" - flock unit 5(b) page 111.. in the case of this kind of circumstantial evidence, the accused is presumed guilty, not innocent.

Superb AND True! In most legal systems you can read the 'law books' in a library or at least borrow them and make notes to prepare yourself for any eventuality.

In the JW system you have no right of access to any of the material. The elders can and DO make up anything they like and swear blind their opinion IS in The Flock Book.
