A Child Called "It"
by brotherdan ini know many of you have probably already read this book, but as i was listening to it as an audio book, i had a new thought.
this poor child was abused by his mother.
there is a part in the book where the teachers and police are trying to get him to talk about the things his mother had done to him.

A Fond Farewell
by 5thGeneration ini want to take this opportunity to say goodbye to all of the members on jwn and thank you for your support over the years.. circumstances have arisen that make it impossible for me to continue posting here.. i have truly appreciated your love and support during some hard times when i had no one else to talk to.. you showed compassion and a non-judgmental, christlike attitude for thoughts and feelings that could not be openly expressed to any of the brothers in the congregation for fear of reprisal.
for that, i am so grateful!.
thanks to the many of you that could relate to the pain and worthlessness that i have felt about myself for so many years because of my experiences and upbringing in the truth.

Jim TX - I always felt exactly like that, whatever I did or said, I was never any good.
I began to become severely depressed; when I stopped going to the KH I felt much better.

Rapture hasn't been mentioned by the WTBTS in this sense since 1993.
It was the subject of a Ministry school - No.3 talk:
"Do You Believe in the Rapture" in September 2003

This makes good reading:
Dave Pelzer - The child-abuse entrepreneur.
By David Plotz

Many people do NOT believe Pelzer suffered as much abuse as he claims, he certainly made a fortune out of it!

Blondie - They are the "Questions for those desiring to be Baptized"
These are the 2 questions AT Baptism:
At the conclusion of the baptism talk, the speaker will ask the baptism
candidates to stand and answer the following two questions in a loud, clear voice:
"On the basis of the sacrifice of Jesus Christ, have you repented of your sins
and dedicated yourself to Jehovah to do his will?
Do you understand that your dedication and baptism identify you as one of
Jehovah’s Witnesses in association with God’s spirit-directed organization?"
Affirmative answers to these questions constitute a "public declaration" of the
baptism candidates’ faith in the ransom and of the fact that they have unreservedly dedicated themselves to Jehovah. (Rom. 10:9,10) Baptism candidates will therefore want to give prayerful advance thought to these questions so that they can answer in harmony with their personal convictions.

SHOCK!!! ARMAGEDDON HAS FINALLY ARRIVED!!!.....
by african GB Member in....for me that is..... i've had enough of being shunned by almost everyone on this board, just because i am different and i am not american or canadian!.
to whoever is in charge here, just "destroy" my membership from this forum.. no one takes me serious and no one believes anything i say here.. i have realised that once one becomes a jw, they remain so until their death, hence the shunning and discrimination that rules this board.. to those who understood my sense of humor here, i say goodbye to ya'll niggas.. i'll see you in hell!.
watch this space, maybe i'll come back in a different name and style(invisibly, just like jesus christ in 1914).. look out for signs of my presence.. agbm from africa, out!!!!!

Oh!! What a pity, I have really enjoyed your posts
Get resurrected and come back as the Pope.
I'm different; I'm also NOT American OR Canadian,
although I can't see why that matters!
Bye, Bye for now.
