  Just wondering who on this board has a spouse that is fully in and your awake?

  i am just curious who on this board is in the same situation has i am?

  a spouse that is fully brain doogled in and you are awake to ttatt.. without going into serious detail and no names are given.

  i would like to possible talk with one of you all, it's just so helpful to communicate with someone in the same situation as me.. i am located in the southwest united states..

  Exactly the same. My wife is fully in and my two sons.

  I am totally shunned by one of my sons and his family.

  My other son can't do enough for me!

  I have just celebrated 4 years since my "kangaroo court".

  of course, we didn't answer.. 1 ring, 2 seconds at the door (that's all we get?

  They don't even knock or ring when passing my place!

  They just look at a bit of paper in their hand and pass on by.

  THEY made me a 'do not call'; aren't they kind.

  The "most honest people" on earth....?

  have we noticed how often the society uses comments like this?.

  "jehovah's witnesses are the most honest people...etc".

  while it may be true that witnesses as a whole are decent, law abiding people, are they truely "honest" when the very foundation of beliefs are based on mistruths?.

  so my hubby has been on a bit of a roll about the jdubs, we were talking a lot about them & he said the buzz word he hate's the most is "worldly" why?

  because he say's "with that one word they have condemned (according to their believes) a person as being worthy of nothing but death.

  What TV shows were forbidden in your JW household?

  in the u.s., three's company was not allowed.

  it was explained to me that it was an immoral show because a man and women lived together and no one was married.

  the sister who gave this observation was a family friend and we were newbies to the religion.. at least i somehow managed to watch the benny hill show undetected..

  i am hoping you wonderful people can help as this group is the best for most things in life not just our shared jw experience.. as many of you know since leaving jwdom i have become totally involved in exotic hedgehogs and now run my own rescue for them.

  there is a horrible hereditary disease called wobbly hedgehog syndrome that has appeared in the uk.

  i was browsing through stuff on jw.org recently and ran across some expressions that really grate on my nerves: loyal love, loving-care, and loving-kindness, as in: "please exercise loving-kindness toward your servant.

  " who talks like that?

  they must be relics of the fred franz era.
