  well, my fluff thread on eggs went over pretty well, so i thought i would start one on bacon.

  now, of course, bacon and eggs go together.

  that is axiomatic.

  Spaghetti Carbonara (creamy, cheesy sauce with bits of bacon, or Italian bacon [pancetta] and herbs), Lithuanian Kugelis (potato pudding with sour cream and apple sauce), Chicken Cacciatore (with mushrooms, tomatoes and bacon), German lentil soup with bacon, apple souffle with bacon, bacon buns (sweet yeast dough, filled with stewed bacon and onions), fresh spinach salad with hot bacon dressing, London Broil stuffed with goat cheese and wrapped in bacon, Rumaki (chicken liver appetizers wrapped in bacon), bacon waffles (they're really good!).

  Now I'm hungry!

  Bethel Has Known of Sexual Abuse For Years

  bill bowen has acurately brought out that bethel has known for years about the large numbers of sexual abuse survivors among the r&f.

  the awake articles that appeared on sexual abuse were originally planed to be a series, if memory serves me right only two were printed.

  bethel was flooded with mail with gratitude for the info and requests for more specific info.

  i just read that the name, 'jehovah' was created 700 years ago by a catholic monk who took the vowels from the word, 'lord' and combined them with the letters yhwh (the unpronounceable, biblical term for god).. anyone ever heard this or know a credible source for this info?.

  now here's potentially something to share with your next visiting jw!.

  one of the watchtower mantras when i became a jw was that the churches of christendom, aka part of babylon the great, were drying up according to revelation ... and that just a few little old men and ladies were attending her sunday service ... whereas the jw religion was supposed to be the fastest growing religion deep in the time of the end ... .

  here, now for 2001are the statistics, as published by the national council of churches ... so we can see how, 30 years later, christendom (babylon baby) compares to the most holy and pure jehovah witnesses ... .

  I'm very sorry but I don't like it either.

  The lamb looks like he's doped up and passively drifting off to a 'heavenly' place.

  "Slaughter" comes to mind.

  west nile at my house

  jsut a note to any horse owners:.

  yesterday my neighbor's horse came down with west nile, he had just given the vaccine a week ago, at the same time as i vaccinated my horses, the local vets were saying that it wouldnt be a problem here untill next year and now there are 75 horses that have come down with it,.

  so if you have horses and havent vaccinated them for west nile please do it, it is so sad to see the effects take over a strong, healthy, young, horse.. what has me worried is that with my l\uck im going to be the first person localy to get it.
