Out of Bethel and still recovering

hello to all im new to the site i have been looking for about two weeks now .i was at brooklyn bethel from 1994 -1999 and i worked in the barber shop office blgd.

(25 columbia heights ) .i just wanted to say hi and that many of your post have really been helpful to me as i have gone though some tough times on all levels .

Has being a Jehova's witness totally shattered your faith?

just because the watchtower society is wrong doesn't mean that there is no god, nor does it mean there is a god.

it would interesting to now how former members have adjusted thier cosmology, or whether they are now atheists and why.

i personally see religion as a more personal matter, rather than belonging to an organization.

No not shattered but it has made me stop and think about what I do believe in.

I´m not sure where my journey will lead me. To a certain extend, I would like to know that. But at the other hand, why would I. There are chances, opportunities in every period of life. You just need to recognize them and make use of them.

Life is about change and I am changing and so should you. Dwell on the positives not the gloom of destruction, Focus on the light and energy of living. That is the godliest thing you can do…for both your present and your future.

Thank you so much for your post, you made my day so much better and showed me that its always good to look on the bright side of things and never to dwell on the negative.

Anyone here trying Byetta? New Diabetic Medicine from GIla monster spit.

i'm going to ask my doctor for byetta on monday.

my sugar has been running in the high 300's and i fear i am crashing.

the oral meds don't do it anymore and i need to lose weight.

I dont have any problem with my insurance not paying for it, I just have to pay a $30 copay, I have a friend that pays 80.00 for it because she doesnt have perscription insurance, just reg. medical insurance.

Outsourced Call Center Frustration

for the most part i have never had a problem with call centers based in india.

whenever there seemed to be an issue, i chalked it up to a communication issue.

today, however, is a different story.. i booked a trip on delta but my frequent flier account is with continental.

Yes I take it, I started off with the 5 and took it a month then my doctor switched me to the 10. Yes it will make you feel sick at times, I found that if I took it right before breakfast and then before supper then I didnt feel so bad. It really helps with the appetite and works well with metforman and avandaril. It really works for me hope you have success with it also.

i can't think of any myself, no doctors, lawyers, business owners (i mean medium to big business, not just one guy cleaning windows, etc).

Yes I know of 2 doctors that have practiced in our area, one moved back to Dallas Tx because his wife just couldnt stand the small town life (population 15,000) and the other is still practicing in a city about 50 miles from my town, he is from the Dominican Republic and is a Diabetic doctor, he is really nice. He always makes sure that he leaves the office early enough in the day to be able to make it home for the meetings. Poor soul, just doesnt realise what a waste of time it all is.

I also enjoy reading the profiles but have found that so many dont put anything down in their profiles. I am not df either just inactive but I dont have any fear about being found out here on the site because as one posted that would make them an apostate also!
