He looks gorgeous! I am a big believer in long hair for men. Most lose it so fast so why not enjoy it while they've got it. My husband had long black ringlets that girls use to drool over. Thank god, he hasn't lost his hair at 49. It doesn't curl like it use to and he's got a typical business cut, but it's still full and thick and still sports the beard and mustache.
I guess I'm a bad influence but encourage my 19 and 22 year old sons to enjoy the hair while they've got it!

well ive just registered with the site and not sure what to make of it.
i feel i shouldn't be here.... anyway i'm just a normal 17 year old lad from the uk who is a bit confused at the minute.

i am now about to buy a new electric oven and ceramic electric hobs so if anyone has advice and tips on these devices let us know.
the oven will be bosch or siemens with triple glass on the door and of course fun assisted, that way food cooks faster and better as a crust is created quickly on the surface of food and seals in the juices, eg meats come out very succulent and tender.
also there is no need to turn food round.

Thanks, I will look into that. We are on degrees in the States so will have see what the 20 c. amounts to. I am a good cook and do like this oven, just disappointed with the friggen touch pad that stares me in the face every day.

here are my wife's notes from the co talk this past tuesday.. 1c christians preached despite demonic activity (acts 4:1,2).
acts 4:18-20 shows they continued b/c they had god's spirit.
acts 5 all the apostles were imprisoned and about to be put to death, but were beaten & released instead.
Apparently they have not discovered Sir Isaac Newton's prediction of 2060 as the end. (I would believe him over any one else) That way everyone could relax, and the old timer's could get the medical attention they need and retire.
It's another 54 years away!
Infact , most of the 6 plus million could relax and get on with life and save for retirement.

i know this topic has been beat to death probably in here...but i was watching some of the "friends" going down my street the other day (and they categorically skip my house because satan and i are tight you know) and it reminded me so much of how much i hated going door to door and how i prayed when it was my turn to knock that nobody was home.
and we walked down those streets with our little territory cards in hand, making anywhere from meticulous to rediculous notes about the house we were just at...and moving our feet as slowly as we possibly could to maintain a forward motion at all, to eat up the time we were forced to (yes i said forced to) report every month.
field service was what you called the time you spent between when you were at mcdonalds and dunkin donuts.
Since they are making very little contact these days, slogging not needed, (apparently no one is answering doors like they use to) here is the new tactic:
They have a new term (HBH) Home but hiding. Witnesses are looking up the phone numbers on google and then call on a cell phone while in front of the house.
Getting pretty intrusive, don't ya think?

i have a reasonable singing voice .
i find that i am really good with technology, i learn that stuff quickly.
Shooting my mouth off when I'm PO'd, and then getting into trouble.
Home improvement stuff, plumbing, electrical, I've put down wood floors etc. and decorating.
I play the piano, am an avid gardener and am a pretty good cook.

if you realy stop and think about it, witnoids are under more pressure and stress (dealing with real life and witnoid life) than those who are "worldly".
My parents were miserable most of their lives, all the while it was being pounded in from the platform that these were the happiest human beings on the planet. My mother has been telling me my whole life (up until she shunned me a month ago) she is so miserable, there is no point to this life and she is waiting to die.
My father was diagnosed with bi polar disease 10 years before he died. Extreme depression and then euphoric highs.
Both were the most depressed, unhappy people I have ever come across. Of course being raised under this duo has done wonders for my own outlook.
I came to the conclusion if you can't find any happiness now, you won't have it in the new order either. God did not intend you to be suicidal your whole life on this planet.

One funny outcome with all this door to door work that paid off. I worked for the Census Bureau doing what be considered back calls by the JW's to those households that did not fill out the long forms. Most people were so damn glad I wasn't a JW they agreed to cooperate That along with no fear of ringing a total stranger's door bell and the ability to keep at it if they didn't answer, made me a top producer. They kept me for 6 months extra. The pay was a lot better too!

Its funny, in my mom's congregation there are numerous guys shaving their heads, including one elder, and she claims they oil them. She has complained about it a lot as she can't stand all the shiney heads.
The endless rules and regulations to me, are just staggering.

the watchtower still proudly highlights that they were the only religion sent to concentration camps, due to their neutral war stance.
however there are many other religions that are neutral or pacificts and so must have disobeyed hitlers request for them to join his ss.
so what is the real reason jws were put into concentration camps?
I read a letter from the society to Hitler a few years back. They appeared very sympathetic with his views about the jews, obviously trying to save their own hides. I'm sure he saw right through it as it did not change his mind.
