I've been curious to see if some people are just waiting for others to join in, as not to leave on their own. Would you even admit that you too suspect this organization is not from God? Or that you have been researching it as well? Thanks everyone!

Elders/MS, what would you do?

what if that witness outright declared the organization as a wicked or not directed by god?.

Arrogance? When will we humans learn we are not the center of everything?

I don't think one could say that "the majority of stars are approximately 80% less the mass of ours". It would mean that more than 50% of the stars are approximately 80% less the mass of the sun. But we have absolutely no idea how many stars there are in the universe. We are only able to see a very small fraction of the universe even with a sophisticated equipment.
It is the observable universe which is being discussed, otherwise it would be moot.

Fast forward a few hundred years, our Sun has been shown to be an average star on the outskirts of an average galaxy. At least we still have the fact that humans are made in God's image, right? Enter Darwin and evolutionary biology.
Actually our Sun is rather uncommon. The Sun may not be the biggest star, but the majority of stars are approximately 80% less the mass of ours. The luminosity along with the composition is also unique for the age of the sun. The metals found far surpass other stars of the same age. Also, the Milky Way has best size, type, and mass distribution for physical life to exist.

how many times were we told that the kingdom halls would be our ark and that we needed to keep going to the meetings so that we wouldnt miss the announcement that the great tribulation was beginning and the doors of the ark were closing...even though the bible says nobody knows the day or the hour?
did any of you ever pray for your relatives to die so they would have a ressurection and not be destroyed at armageddon?

If in my examination and search for truth, I would find it with them, then there would not be anything I would want more than to be a JW.
That is no longer a possibility since they are false prophets and want to stand in for our Lord and Saviour.

My friends, I went to church

it was a relief to hear the bible being preached, the bible alone!!
i don't think any jw's can picture that.

For the first time in my life and it was memorable. It was a relief to hear the Bible being preached, the Bible alone!! I don't think any JW's can picture that. I was welcomed in right away, no mean looks or anything like that. That's not so much different for a newcomer to a KH I suppose, the only difference was that these people took the scriptures seriously, prayed earnestly, and provided true, christian fellowship.
Praise the Lord, the shackles are coming off....

he stated that jw's don't proclaim or feel that they have special chosen ones to lead nor do they feel as though they are the sole organization to get to god.

Time is their enemy
by LDH intick, tick, tick.. the governing body is dying one by one, faster now.. young people who thought they would never see themselves getting old now take meds for cholesterol, alzheimers, diabetes, blood pressure.. the end isn't here.. tick, tick, tick.. kids who walked away from the wt after being warned that they would die like a dog in the streets instead are very successful young people with real jobs, families, and assets.. empty threats stop having an effect.
apathy sets in.
automatons attend the meetings.
