  NEWS: I am publicly reproved over UN situation.

  my wife and i met with 3 elders for a "judicial hearing".. our crime: simply put, was talking.

  i showed a friend the un website where the wts was listed as an ngo which then led to a 2 hour discussion of various doubts that we both have had.

  my wife also showed a friend the un thing but also discussed with her a first hand account of a pedophile cover-up that we knew about in our former congregation.

  Hello Badwillie and wife. What pain and anguish you must feel now that you have experienced their hypocrisy up close and personal. One thing I was not able to ascertain from your post was if the local body of elders had been in close touch with the legal boys in Brooklyn, or if they were handling this action on their own. Might I suggest you contact Silentlambs ASAP because of his own experiences. The WT's hands have been tied in his case because of the negative publicity it would generate.

  The KM of March 1975 Ques. Box says that "a reproof is a congregational expression of disapproval occasioned by a serious wrongdoing that could have led to the disfellowshiping of one of its baptized members if he had been unrepentant".
  My guess is that they have been in contact with legal on this. Do you feel that they observed a contrite attitude on you and your wife's part or do you feel that this was a ploy to shut you up for damage control?
  I asked that question so your response to the body can be a measured one. However it turns out, I hope that things work out okay in getting the rest of your family out. My heart goes out to you and your wife at this time and I admire your courage. Keep us posted and call Silentlambs! Dino

  i'll digress a moment to state that one strong theory that has deeply troubled me over the years, centers around their transformation over a century into a caricaturistic representation of christendom.

  Derrick, that was very powerful. You would also be very pleasantly surprised to know that there are ALOT of dedicated brothers worldwide who feel exactly the same way.I am shaking with emotion after reading that post because of my similar feelings. I dont say this to lend credence to what I am about to say, and I hope that Maximus wont mind, but we have spent time conversing on that VERY scenario! It's obvious to several that what supposedly comes from the GB MUST be originating from another source. Thank you Derrick from the bottom of my heart. Dino

  Hello detective and all. Having contacted two major metropolitan newspapers religion sections myself with faxes, e-mails and follow-up calls, one of the best ways we can contribute to the cause is to keep those threads regarding the UN at the top. Our combined comments helps the reporters to research it easier.I have directed news editors to this site because it says it better than anything. In addition, I have refered them to the Guardian articles as well. Keep those subjects to the fore!

  MAJOR UN/WTS/NGO NEWS - WTS IS GONE

  as of 11:45 this morning (i had a telphone call this morning with the refernce department person named holly at 212-963-7234), i can tell you that the watchtower has disassociated itself from the united nations dpi!!!!!!.

  the dpi is now taking them off the list.

  the dpi requested the list removal to be done this morning!!!!!.

  flash - major breaking!!!!!!!.

  i just talked to paul hoeffel 1:35pm - he phoned me.. okay people.

  i can now confirm that the watchtower has provided a letter in writing to dpi indicating that the wts has "disassociated" themselves from dpi - ie the wts has made it offical that they have quit.. i can also confirm that the wts has been updating dpi regularily as they are suppose to over the last 10 years.. i can also can say that something is in the works that i can disclose by hopeflly tomorrow.

  as of 6:02 pm last night i received a facsimile from paul hoeffel at the un on the wts.. he gave me 3 of the 4 things i requested in two paragraphs.. i have sent a scanned version to steve bates and someone else.. i sent it to kent and randy.

  and kent and randy have posted the official united nations letter on their web sites.. here is the letter - put your cursor on the image and then right click on your mouse and hit "save image" to your computer.. .

  after you look at kent's web site and you people still think this it is a fake letter, phone paul hoeffel yourself at (212) 963-8070.. hawk
