  Since you have never been one of Jehovah's Witnesses maybe you cant relate to this. Ask any one of Jehovah's Witnesses why the organization has grown to 6,000,000 adherents, and they will tell you that it is because of God's Holy Spirit. One of the reasons they claim to be God's sole channel on earth is because of a total "reliance on Jehovah".When they associated with the UN in order to "make use of resources available to the enemy",what happened to their "reliance on Jehovah"? In a reading of the Sept. 8 '91 Awake! articles which were initially presented to the UN to show their support, there was not one mention of Jehovah.
  And yet if a "pioneer" has to get off the list and get a full time job to afford new tires on his/her old clunker, they are looked at in a jaundiced way because they didnt "rely on Jehovah". Sorry to use JW terms, but you are on our turf.
  
  Hypocritical? I think so.
  Have you even followed the threads showing how they lied unblinkingly to the flock? Because of ZEALOUS work their lies have been exposed.

  Sir, it may be your nature to be skeptical of everything, but to me your assertions are empty and presumptuous.

  Until you can relate to my situation of having family members in a destructive cult, you and I have nothing further to talk about on this subject.

  Hello refiners fire and welcome.

  Does your moniker refer to Malachi chapter 3?

  The biggest thing with me on this whole UN thing is that BY THEIR OWN DEFINITION of neutrality they have been hypocritical.

  Heinously so.

  What do you think that the mothers of all those boys who were tortured and killed or at the very least jailed for some time because of MAINTAINING neutrality would think of the Governing Body if they knew of this?

  It would be difficult, but if there was ever a basis for a class- action suit, I would love to see it stand on this alone.
  
  That is why I feel so passionately about this subject.

  DFW Posters - dinner plans this Sunday night?

  as of 6:02 pm last night i received a facsimile from paul hoeffel at the un on the wts.. he gave me 3 of the 4 things i requested in two paragraphs.. i have sent a scanned version to steve bates and someone else.. i sent it to kent and randy.

  and kent and randy have posted the official united nations letter on their web sites.. here is the letter - put your cursor on the image and then right click on your mouse and hit "save image" to your computer.. .

  after you look at kent's web site and you people still think this it is a fake letter, phone paul hoeffel yourself at (212) 963-8070.. hawk

  Hey Hawk, one more thing. I have been navigating the UN website for hours now and I wanted to double-check something. I noticed that in the directory published in 1994, I believe, the WT was listed also in women's rights, and disarmament. I am thinking that would make them(as a NGO) not only under the jurisdiction of the DPI but also the ECOSOC. If so they HAVE to file a quadrennial report to the UN. The way that works is that if they were granted NGO status in 1992 then a report for the period of 1996-1999 would have to be filed in 2000. Is that true? If so, their work to the UN would be outlined in UN document E/C.2/2000/2Add1

  Can you check it out? If this were true we could sink their battleship!
