please bill, ask the jwd board if anybody has ever seen or read a paper that a jw woman wrote in 1989 called "moving forward: help for witnesses handling issues of abuse and victimization in their lives.

" maybe you could inquire on some of the other chat groups for abuse victims.. mary really needs this to continue her narrative.. barb

for several weeks now ive been a little distraught that my jw, ex-wife will be taking our kids to the service meeting and have them listen the wts propaganda on how to view and treat dad & dfd individuals.

not only because of the possible negative effect it may have on my relationship with them but also the fact that they are being taught to hate a certain group of people.

my ex and i have made it a point never to talk negative about the other to the kids.

I've Retired

well, i've reached my goal of 2000+ posts and have decided to move on.

i've never felt that i've contributed much here, anyway, and since my background is not jw, it's easy to see why some here see me as an interloper and trespasser.

i may look in from time to time and (to be polite) be involved in threads i've started, but i need to get a life outside this board.
