  i just got a call from a very close family member yesterday.. he/she has come out of the borg!

  purplesofa, that Skallygirl really used to wreak havoc in those chat rooms didnt she? She has been a dear friend for many years now. Skallywagger takes the fight right to the WT in whatever capacity she can! So good to have you with us and I have always enjoyed your posts.

  Mini, you old dog! Long time no talk to. He is my sister-in-law! Makes family reunions fun. In fact, we put the fun in disfunctional! Actually she is my cousin and had pioneered on and off for years. She was a real Watchtower thumper!

  Thanks iceguy, she was a little gunshy about me making the announcement here publicly.

  How is everyone this fine evening!

  I just got a call from a very close family member yesterday.

  He/She has come out of the Borg! I couldnt believe what I was hearing at first. After making the split, he/she was the first person that I confided in. It initially was a disaster. I really had to work hard not to alienate my loved one at this point. From then on I kept things very loving but somewhat sporadic.

  Well lo and behold after 2 years, I get a phone call last night informing me that he/she had formally disassociated from the Borg.

  This totally was BIG news to me and quite unexpected.

  My family member had been in for over 50 years!

  The WT is sinking, I can now see that on a very personal level.

  BETHELITES - Whatever Became of?

  i often times wonder what happened to certain bethelites that i ran around with during my 1990s tenure there.

  while there are still a few left there, the greater majority of them aren't there for various reasons (marriage, disillusionment, left the borg, etc).

  a couple of cats i wonder about - there was one brother who i believe was from kansas, who got his fingers cut off in a printing press.
