THE ATTITUDE OF A BETHELITE
by minimus inone of the most interesting things that i have noticed about being a witness is the awe that is given to bethelites.
it seems that if you are a bethelite, you are accorded special privleges in congregations.
you are honored when you visit a hall.

Oh Min.
I think they are so wonderful. I mean just think they go and do all that work for free. Oh! and they loves Jehovah so much. I mean, the many times I went to tour the factories, I just can't forget all those happy, smiley little faces they all had. It made me want to quit my job, leave my family on the spot, take my shoes off and run in the sand, and just go there and be a little Bethelite. Plus they get to see the "Older Men" a.k.a Governing Body, in person, in the flesh. Just think of those blessins'. It must bring chills up those smiley faced, hard workin' for no pay, little/big Bethelites spine. To get up in the morning and see all that holy spirit in one place at the same time. I just don't know how they can do it.
And that's just my take on them. And like Bryan Adams sings "It's straight from the heart

What "SIN" do elders respond to fastest?
by Dismembered in.
maybe it's just me but, it seem like "elders" respond extremely quickly to "sexual misconduct" as long as it does not involve their own family members.
true or false?

Shipman...INNOCENT! (Per WTS)
by ISP inyes........horrible thought that it is, shipman would have been allowed to continue his murderous ways if the wts had anything to do with it.
the 2 witness policy would have meant that he would have escaped justice.
to say much more would have been slander and no doubt dubs would be df'd if they continued to make allegations.

no disfellowship for inactive?
by jaccilynn inmy mother was having a moment while she went to visit a friend a few weeks ago, worrying about me being disfellowshiped and having our relationship change.
the sister told my mom, that i could not be disfellowshiped because i am not an active memeber of the congregation.
supposedly, her daughter was a full time pioneer, stopped attending meetings, and realized that she is a lesbian.

You cannot be disfellowshipped for not going to meetings or being "inactive". Just be smart out being inactive, and all your "loving brothers & sisters" will leave you alone.
