How much does an individual copy of WT or Awake! cost?
by Open mind ini'm not talking about the incalculable cost of wasted lives, etc.. i'm mainly thinking about actual out-of-pocket accounting cost to the wtb&ts.
raw materials, labor (yes labor, it's not quite free even though some seem to think so), utilities, shipping, etc.. my gut says about $.30 us.
but i have crunched no numbers nor done any research.. anyone else?.

My family of four used to order so many of the rags and then they just piled up in the basement until i took all of them to recycling......save a tree!
I never paid hardly a penny for them for them after the donation thing came in.....[I was the literature 'servant' them HAHAHAHAHAHA]
After i was 'removed' from this priveledge I still paid nothing.
As another poster stated every little bit helped.

latest news is that tj is up and around but is living in a house on the wallkill properties.. he is being tended to by a group of the societies doctors and nurses to make sure that he is continuing to improve.. shucks, guess he may be around giving orders for some time yet.. japster.

Latest news from the famille is that Ted is back at Beth-Hell moving around in a walker. Preparing heavily for the Annual meeting coming up Oct. 1st I think.
My family has been invited to this 'spezial' occasion for the past ten years or so. I asked them what the heck really goes on at a Spezial Annual Metting. They said that the bigwigs....ie the Gov Body get together for one hour before the meeting at the Stanly Theatre and talk about policies etc....? WTF??? What policies???
The som further a**-holes get up on stage and talk about all the good works being done arount the globe....including some a**holes from that part of the world.
Sounds sick and boring just like an Uber-convention of sorts.
They reall couldn't tell me more than that even though they've bee to one of these JW lovefests for more than a decade now.

Attended DC this weekend, quick recap...the End may not be imminent could take a million years but its still coming
by shopaholic inattended the dc this weekend in california with a jw acquaintance of mine that wanted to go 'jw man-hunting' and didn't want to go alone.
she knows i'm not active and haven't been to a meeting in a long time and have no interest in jw men.
i think she feels like she has the best of both worlds with me, anyway it was interesting...the gb appears to be changing their tune and i don't think the masses even realize it.. br.
