  as a loyal witness i would never have done anything on a tuesday night except attend the group study.. when i was at school it was a definate no to after school activities on a tuesday (though it was much the same for other nights of the week as well).

  then i would never go to any night classes on a tuesday, which somewhat limits access to higher education.

  never stayed in to watch tv no matter what was on..

  My personal beliefs have already given me peace and security. I chose the status symbol of choice not the BMW but the paid off home mortgage and the AK credit card.... read AK47.

  Following the jws teachings is the wrong way to pratice this religion.

  One insteed should follow the example of the FDS and amass realestate wealth (do as they do not as they say). You know follow there good example on the road to riches.

  Witnesses stay for the convention and my wife tells them were divorcing!

  she told me hours before their arrival that she wants us to divorce....i asked her to not tell them as it would spoil our few days together and cause stress for all of us...she agreed.....and then told them on day 2????

  I only have one question..why the heck would you allow witnesses to come stay for the convention when all this is going on in your marriage? If it was me, I'd have cancelled and explained it was not a good time. If they needed help finding a place to stay, I'd have helped em. But then, I'd never have someone staying at my house so they could attend a convention. Eww, the afterhours convo about the sessions would be unbearable!!

  I concur. The expense of putting them up at nice lodging would have been worth the price.

  I never ever would have said sorry for dropping the F Bomb, when it was in my home. Once again if you have issues with my language---- THERE'S THE DOOR.

  I bet they didn't have a problem with the vintage being served.

  This whole scripture you quoted smells of COMMUNISM. "Each according to his abilities and each according to his needs".

  This same account also reveals the apostles had the not only the power to raise the dead but to kill the living.

  I believe Stalin would have lined them up and had them shot as he did the farmers who did not comply with communism.

  Ability to show love, to those who wouldn't tow the party line, seemed to be the same among both Stalin and Peter.
