Even if this guy is totally reformed (and that is very unlikely) why would he ever be allowed to work with the public in any capacity? You don't put innocent children at risk, you just don't.
And using PTSD as an excuse is pathetic. You are either wired to prefer children sexually or you aren't, no amount of stress will change that. Just like any pedophile, he minimizes and excuses his disgusting behavior.

The problem good sir/maam is that i have a serious disease. I have stage 4 colon cancer. I just want to be with her before i ..you know. Im afraid to tell her about my situation because i dont want her to get back to me just because of my illness. I really dont know what to do. Im depressed, stress physically emotionally and spriritually..
I am so sorry.
Well, she used you then changed the rules and decided you had to change to suit her, so no one would blame you for using your situation to your advantage.
But I think she would want to know, so tell her and let her decide what to do with the information, there is no shame in that.

What happened is that your girlfriend was raised in a cult. She was lonely, because dating prospects are not great in the organization, and so she broke the rules and got involved with you. She was able to forget about her religious beliefs for a while, because the desire to love and be loved is very strong, but she still believes in the religion and it was inevitable that she would be found out and punished.
Being disfellowshipped is very painful, so it has shocked her into obedience, plus she obviously still believes in the religion. She has made her choice, she is choosing the religion over you. Your choice is to walk away or join the religion. You will be expected to spend hours each week in meetings, go out in the door to door service, and give up independent thought. You will have to give up all your non JW friends, holidays and voting and believe in creationism instead of science. If your child needs a blood transfusion you will be expected to refuse, even if it results in their death. You can be disfellowshipped at any time for anything three elders agree on.
Before you even think about joining, I urge you to learn more about this religion. They are not honest about their history and practices. They have changed doctrines so many times even current members get confused about what they believe. They are led by a group of men in New York who dictate what everyone is to believe and do, they claim to be directed by God, his sole channel of communication with mankind . They believe that only Jehovah's Witnesses will be saved, that everyone else will be destroyed at Armageddon, which is happening soon. In fact, they have incorrectly predicted the end many times, all of it based on some wacky chronology based on an incorrect date. They have a history of covering up child sex abuse, denying they have a problem while secretly paying out millions in settlements. They mind control techniques to keep the membership.
This is just the tip of the iceberg. For a good starting point on learning more, I suggest JWfacts.com.

Dealing with family
by G Skero ini'm in my mid 40's and recently started bible study and going to meetings.
my family is really having a hard time with this.
my kids that are over 18 are no longer speaking to me and won't have anything to do with me.

While it's not right that your children are not talking to you, you might want to do some more research before you get further involved. Then if you decide to join you will be better informed and know you are making the right decision. You see, many of us here are former Jehovah's Witnesses, or current members who are concerned about some aspects of this organization.
When I studied and became baptized many years ago I was not told certain things in the organization about their history and practices. I did not know you could be disfellowshipped for even one instance of what they consider a serious sin, or actually for anything three elders agree on and there would be recourse and that you would loose all your family and friends. I didn't know that if I chose to leave the organization I would still be disfellowshipped if I I'd anything they considered wrong, like celebrating Christmas, that other people consider innocent. You see in this religion there is considered to be no valid reason to leave and in fact if you publicly disagree with any teaching you are considered to be a mentally diseased apostate.
I didn't know they had predicted the end of the world numerous times, and been wrong every time. At the time I joined I was told the world was going to end soon, most likely in 1975. I was told I would never have time for a career in this system of things, so I didn't go to college. Obviously Armageddon did not come, now they pretend they never predicted that and still tell young people not to go to college because Armageddon is so close. I didn't know that they keep their finances hidden, that no one knows what happens to they money they take in. I also didn't know that they hid their issues with child sex abuse by members of the congregation. They still deny they have a problem while secretly paying out millions in settlements and are being investigated by the Australian Royal commission.
So do yourself a favor and think long and hard about whether you want to join this group. Although they mean well, they have lost the love that should be a part of any Christian group and have seriously lost their way. It is a religion of guilt and more guilt. You will never feel like you have done enough, because you will be expected to give up all personal goals and pursuits in obedience to the demands of the organization. You will be looked down on and counseled if you miss meetings or field service, no matter the reason.
Please take the time to research their history. Wikipedia is a good neutral starting point, but also consider JWfacts.com, they have accumulated a lot of quotes from the literature of the organization. You won't be sorry you took the time.
Good Luck

So his comments make black people think the lie that police are targeting them is substantiated. That the government knows about it. So every time it happens they get even more inflamed.
- I thought we were discussing Hilary, not Obama.Or is she responsible for his comments?
- The Police are targeting blacks, see the Article Ruby posted on the DOJ investigation into the Baltimore Police Department. They are by no means the only department that adopted the kind of "stop and frisk" policies that temd to impact black people far more, whether that is the intent or not.
He even mentions data showing it. What data? More whites are killed than blacks. Is the data because they are black or because they disproportionately commit more crime? Or because of the anti police culture / no snitch culture / etc?Of course more whites are killed than blacks, because statisticsly there are more white people than people. Duh.
White people make up roughly 62 percent of the U.S. population but only about 49 percent of those who are killed by police officers.
Of course that is just one statistic, and it doesn't tell you how many of those shootings were justified. The point is, the "stop and frisk" policies are creating the perception in the black communities that they are being targeted, so when an unarmed black person is shot, naturally they are going to feel it is not justified, no matter what the facts are. And there are unjustified shootings, there is no getting around that. For example the recent shooting of a man who was sitting in the ground with his hands on his head. Are these shootings being exaggerated by BLM? Perhaps, but there is a real problem at the heart of it and to pretend otherwise is ignoring reality.
But really, why are we focusing on BLM? This is an election thread, we have already beaten this subject (BLM) to death. Hilary isn't the standard bearer for BLM, nor is she responsible for statements by Obama. There us a lot to criticize about hilary, so its odd you would focus on that.
Which brings me to this question: Why isn't Trump focusing on Hilary's real issues? Sure he calls her "crooked Hilary", but that has been repeated so often it has lost all meaning. At a time when she is under fire for the email scandal he picks an unnecessary war with the gold star parents. This seems like a huge mistake in tactics. As a Trump supporter, doesn't that concern you? He is now losing in key battleground states, it's clear that his combative style is turning off voters, but he just reiterated that he has no intention of changing tactics. It appears to me that he has mismanaged the campaign, which makes me question his ability to manage the country.
Is he afraid to call her out for lying because he has such a hard time telling the truth himself? The Washington Post did an analysis and found he lies 78% of the time. He has gotten the Pinnocio award more times than any other person by far. That seems excessive even for a politician. I have stated previously that I have a hard time supporting Hilary because of integrity issues, are you at all concerned with Trumps lies? I am just curious.

Why the story of Noah's ark is scientifically impossible: Minimum Viable Population
by ILoveTTATT2 ini didn't know this but there is a way to calculate the minimum population required for a certain species to survive over the next 100 to 1000 years.
this is called the "minimum viable population".. genesis states that 2 (or 7) of each "kind" went into the ark.
supposing that each "kind" means each "species", and they all could fit in the ark, and they came out safely, most of the species would have died, because it is impossible to survive, long-term, with a starting population of 2.this is interesting:"an mvp of 500 to 1,000 has often been given as an average for terrestrial vertebrates when inbreeding or genetic variability is ignored.

I am kind of embarrassed that I ever believed this nonsense. A global flood could not have happened for so many reasons. How many species are in the Amazon region alone? Noah could not possibly have traveled there to get them and they could not possibly have developed in the few thousand years since then.

From the Washington Times posted by End of Mysteries.
Hillary Clinton on BlackLives Matter:
“Everyone in this country should stand firmly behind that,” she continued. “We need to acknowledge some hard truths about race and justice in this country, and one of those hard truths is that that racial inequality is not merely a symptom of economic inequality. Black people across America still experience racism every day.
I guess I agree with this. I will say I do not approve of the violence being perpetrated by some of the people in the Black LivesMatter movement, but I do believe there is racial injustice in this country and I understand the frustration of people who believe they are not treated as equals in this country.
While at times the issues may be exaggerated by members of the black community, to imagine that there is no issue is equally wrong. While I do not like Hillary Clinton, to imagine she is going to give carte Blanche to racial violence is ridiculous. She is no standard bearer for black lives matter, and there is nothing in her history or statements to indicate she is going to condone black racial violence.
Keep in mind she and her husband rake in big bucks in speaking fees from major corporations. Do you really imagine they would be interested in a candidate who will condone such anarchy? Get real.
There are a lot if reasons to dislike Hilary, black lives after isn't one of them.

Lisa you think Killery is less of an Authoritarian? If you are gonna do a bianary Trump vs Hillery comparison at least realize that Hillery has a LOT more death on her hands! Look up Jill Stine, you seem to be a lefty I think you will really like Jill! No fears you not voting Dem is not gonna effect the election much at all. In fact most 3rd party voters are more right then left. There has not been a non Authoritarian US leader in a LONG time
Hillary does not adopt an authoritarian style of leadership. At the convention Trump was saying "The country is going to hell in a handbasket and I am the only one who can fix it. Hillary was saying " Things are not so bad and together we can make them better." Its a completely different approach.
I heard an interesting analysis of this on NPR. Some peoplre are more comfortable with an authoritarian style and they are drawn to Trump, the statistics on that are quite clear.
I am a moderate Democrat. I don't have a problem with Hillary's politics, just her integrity. I am not at all knee jerk liberal, I am not voting for Jill Stien, I am hearing that in the past she has come out against GMOs and vaccines, two areas on which I am not liberal at all, if you could could consider that a liberal thing. I believe in science.
