She was way out of line and should have been put off the bus. But he had no right to punch her out. She probably now has some kind if injury, she will sue and get a lot of money. He will lose his job. City loses, he loses, she and her lawyers win. He was stupid.

Welcome. Sounds like you have had some real challenges to deal with. You are probably my daughters age. She had some mental issues also, though not as severe. She attempted suicide twice. She is fine now, so I believe there is hope for you too. I made sure sure she got help, and not the elders, real therapists, it took five years. I am very glad that you did not die when you attempted, every life is valuable. You have your whole life ahead of you, and your children need you. You are clean and sober, a great start, so good for you. And you know the truth about the truth, so you don't have that baggage dragging you down. Keep going to therapy if you can.
You should probably plan to get your kids back eventually. but for now they are probably better off with your mom. Just make sure you are prepared before you attempt that. You cannot help them unless you are 100 percent well yourself.
Take care, thanks for sharing your story. let us know how you are doing

It hurts when you suddenly lose friends. Being a JW, you are discouraged from friendships wit "wordly" ones. So all of a sudden you lose your entire support system. It takes time, but you will eventually gain new friends. In the meantime, cherish whatever family and friends you do have, even if they are your sons age. Its a start.
I moved recently and of course some of the friends fell by the wayside. But I worked on getting friends in my new area. I started doing volunteer work partially to meet new people. It took time, but I rebuilt by circle of friends. So bit by bit you will rebuild your support system. And these friends wont drop you like a hot potato because of your religion.

My hubbie and I are really into Hell on Wheels (AMC). I just assumed it was some kind of reality show about cars, so I never watched it. It is actually a western, about building a railroad. We discovered it halfway through season two and are now catching up with season one.

Fb status of a Young JW Mom. Sooo Sick!
by 3dogs1husband incan't believe that we made it through the whole assembly, **** wasn't feeling good last night, has a cold, was pretty cranky, then he seemed fine and minutes later im making a bowl with my hands for him to throw up in while we are sitting (the joys of parenthood) then into a plastic bag, then very quickly ran to the bathroom for even more throwing up, but suprisingly we stayed for the rest of the day.
trying to think of a response.
i am not "out" on fb soooo sick from this i wanna throw up myself...poor children!.

My in laws were babysitting while I worked, and they dragged my kids to the hall even though my son said he didn't feel well. He barfed all over the Kingdom Hall. I was really mad about it, and I felt they got what they deserved. I hope those seats still smell like vomit.
Doesn't that mom know she spread flu virus to everyone else?

It's amazing how a good actor can make himself unidentifiable while playing a character.
by Theocratic Sedition instarted watching bits and pieces of how the west was won last night on demand, and kept saying to myself that jethro guy sounds like somebody i know.
couldn't believe that was henry fonda!.
got me to thinking about other actors and actresses and it's crazy how they can make you forget who they really are.

I've entered the embarrassing stage of pregnancy - let's have a laugh :)
by freshstart inso as you get farther along in your pregnancy and you get bigger and bigger, certain bodily functions are hard to control.
the other day my husband, son and i went out for a nice lunch.
we were dressed up and really enjoying ourselves, when it happened.

Fakesmile that was a hurtful thing you said. Why would you say such a thing to a pregnant woman? Do you not know that pregnant women can get very emotional? No matter his bad the world is, a child being born can be nothing but a joyful occasion. Maybe by bringing a child into the world and raising it right she will be making the world a better place.
You remind me of my mother. She commented that it was too bad her grandson and his wife were having a baby, because it would just die at Armageddon. I thought it was a horrible, hateful and ugly thing to say. If you cannot bring yourself to say something positive about a new human being, maybe you shouldn't say anything.

I love this site. There are so many interesting posters. I wish it was more compatible with Kindle though. I have to insert as plain text, but sometimes that doesn't even work. And I cant edit anything after it gets posted. I use Kindle now instead of a laptop most of the time.
