to get to the meeting ahead of time.
to make our way to the counter to get in line .
To have a real family before the truth
To then have my mom tell my dad she was thru
To hear her say it's not cause your a bad dad
To watch as the elder's tell her put Jehovah over man
To know that the relationship could have been saved
To know that their marriage was simply just waived.
To watch as my little brother cried and cried with big tears
To know that our lives have been changed for all years.

my partner successfully sued gloucestershire constabulary yesterday.
we got our day in court, and today we are on the front page of the daily mail and the gloucester citizen, and we are in several other nationals and locals, my partner's been interviewed by sky news and the bbc.. we finally got them to listen to us after ignoring our letters and phone calls for months.
and it feels fantastic!.
There has been lots of support from ethnic minorities who have all said discrimination should never happen. I have been touched actually by how big people have been who have undoubtedly suffered discrimination all their lives and resisted the opportunity to say 'about time white people know what it feels like'.
lol, yeah I would think that would be tempting but the circle of discrimination has got to stop somewhere. It just a shame that discrimination is such a problem, that they have to resort discrimination against white's to give other ethnic races a chance!!! Crazy.

and it seems like we're getting a few like this nearly every day.
people who were raised jws, really worry that they are doing the right thing in leaving, yet who have been made to feel not good enough by the wts, who felt they never measured up, who struggled with it, but came to realize that what they'd been brought up to believe was just not the truth.. the same stories are told over and over again, and they come from sincere, good people - not whiny, fault-finding apostates like the rest of us riffraff around here!

i recently went to a wedding and the father of the bride that (re)married a (worldly) man said to me, "the only thing that i can say about raising our kids as witnesses was at least they got a good foundation.

Living in a pretty bad area, the friends at the hall keep us (kids) very busy doing different activities (skating, movies, gatherings). Unfortunately they also did not encourage us to make a better living( financially) than what we were use to.
